Activity Highlights

UM Fencing Team attended an intensive fencing training at Shanghai Lixin University of Accounting and Finance (上海立信會計金融學院) from 1-10 Aug 2024 in Shanghai. The training venue was also the competition venue for holding “All China University Fencing Championship” some years ago. They have been attending morning session and afternoon session everyday (besides the arrival and departure day), totally 16 sessions, and the training contents included fitness, fencing skill, exchange matches, etc.

Through this activity, our team members could be trained intensively and able to have an exchange with the fencing team members in the training camp. It is an opportunity for our students to learn from the other fencing coaches and fencers, as well as to enhance their fencing skills. Moreover, it is good for them to prepare for participation in the upcoming local competitions and All China University Fencing Championship on behalf of UM this year.
