澳大學生在愛國演講大賽中脫穎而出
由澳門演講專業協會主辦，澳門青年聯合會協辦的全澳青年愛國愛澳演講大賽於2024年8月17日舉行決賽，主題為“齊賀雙慶共護國安＂。比賽希望透過活動，加強推廣演講文化，以及宏揚愛國愛澳精神。
澳門大學中樂團團員，來自社會科學學院、馬萬祺羅柏心書院的隋心怡參加比賽。經過激烈的初賽後，公開組和學生組共 50多人參賽。隋同學以中樂樂曲《澳門印象》為主題，憑藉著出色的演講技巧和理性思維，成功拿下特等獎、愛國先鋒獎以及最具人氣獎進入六強。
隋同學表示“澳大及主辦方的老師給我們的建議非常有用，我個人在走位，修改稿子的能力，以及整體安排有更好的進步。”現場評委表示對隋同學的演講表示欣賞，立足傳統文化視角，發揚中樂藝術。隋同學不斷努力為澳門大學參加比賽，提升演講及比賽經驗。比賽公開組和學生組兩組六強將參加今年10月澳門舉辦的全國邀請賽，屆時望隋同學為澳門大學爭取好成績。
University of Macau Student Shines in Patriotic Speech Contest
The Macau Youth Patriotic Speech Contest, hosted by the Macau Professional Speaking Association and co-organized by the Macao Youth Federation, held its final round on 17 August 2024. With the theme “Celebrating the Double Celebrations and Safeguarding National Security Together,” the competition aimed to bolster the culture of public speaking and amplify the spirit of patriotism and love for Macau.
Representing the University of Macau, Sui Xinyi from the Faculty of Social Sciences and the Ma Man Kei and Lo Pak Sam College participated in the event. Following intense preliminary rounds, over 50 individuals competed in the open and student categories. Sui, with her presentation themed around the traditional Chinese music song “Impressions of Macau,” clinched the top prize, the Patriotic Vanguard Award, and the Most Popular Award, securing a spot among the top six contestants.
Expressing gratitude, Sui remarked, “The invaluable advice from the University of Macau and the organizers greatly enhanced my skills in delivery, script refinement, and overall presentation.” Judges commended Sui for her speech, appreciating her grounding in traditional cultural perspectives and promotion of Chinese musical artistry. Sui’s dedication to enhancing her public speaking and competition experience for the University of Macau has been pivotal in her success.
The 6 finalists from the open and student categories will advance to the National Invitational Competition in Macau scheduled for October 2024. It is hoped that these students will achieve commendable results and bring glory to the University of Macau.
