澳大首屆藝術博士及碩士學位課程開課

澳門大學人文學院舉行2024/2025學年藝術博士(DFA)及藝術碩士(MFA)學位課程開學典禮。兩課程今學年共錄取約50名不同地區的藝術精英。

典禮上,澳大校長宋永華表示,藝術是人類文明發展的重要組成部分。透過藝術的創造與欣賞,人們能陶冶情操、開拓視野,探索人性的各個面向,反思社會現實。在這個瞬息萬變的時代,藝術教育扮演著關鍵角色,能夠培養學生的創造力、批判思維,激發想像力,養成獨立思考和終身學習的能力。澳大藝術與設計系推出全新的藝術碩士和博士學位課程,匯聚優秀師資和教學資源,致力培養具有國際視野的藝術精英。學生透過嚴格的課程和實踐創作,定能在藝術領域取得卓越成就,成為推動文化傳承與創新的中堅力量。

澳大人文學院藝術與設計系系主任李軍介紹了該學系的優勢及課程的獨特性,並闡述了舉辦藝術課程的宗旨與願景。他指出,該系的使命是幫助學生進入人文和科學研究前沿,開展與澳門歷史文化地位相符的藝術探索。澳門是中西文化交匯的重要節點,澳大校徽上的中西融合亦象徵了這個使命——以溝通東西方文明為己任。他又指,系內匯聚了傑出的藝術史家和優秀的實踐藝術家,致力於高端藝術研究和前沿藝術創造,並設有兩翼學術架構:一翼探索中西美術傳統,另一翼關注當代前沿藝術實踐。他期待學生發揮“藝術意志”,以澳門為依歸,融合中西古今,開創新篇章。

出席典禮的嘉賓還包括澳大人文學院院長徐杰,副院長李德鳳、張健,歷史系主任朱天舒等。

UM holds opening ceremony for first intake of DFA and MFA programmes

The Faculty of Arts and Humanities (FAH) of the University of Macau (UM) held an opening ceremony for the 2024/2025 intake of the Doctor of Fine Arts (DFA) and Master of Fine Arts (MFA) programmes. The two programmes have admitted a total of about 50 outstanding artists from different places this year.

During the ceremony, Yonghua Song, rector of UM, said that art is a vital component of human civilisation, and that art education plays a crucial role in fostering creativity, critical thinking, imagination, independent thinking, and lifelong learning among students. He added that the Department of Arts and Design has an outstanding faculty team and teaching resources, and is committed to cultivating professional artists with a global perspective through the DFA and MFA programmes.

Li Jun, head of the Department of Arts and Design of FAH, gave an overview of the strengths of the department and the unique aspects of the two programmes. He mentioned that the department boasts eminent art historians and accomplished artists who are dedicated to high-level art research and innovative artistic creation. He also expressed hope that the students will draw inspiration from Macao, and integrate the Chinese, Western, ancient, and modern elements to create a new chapter in the world of art.
