UM Cheerleading Team is now recruiting new members

The UM Cheerleading Team established in August 2021, which managed by the Office of Sports Affairs (OSA) and enjoys the same rights and responsibilities as other UM sports teams. Main objective of the team is to enrich the diverse campus culture and promote the cheerleading culture.

Over the past 3 years, the sports performing team has attracted students from different residential colleges who have a passion for cheerleading. The team have performed at multiple campus events, including the UM Spring Gala, the UM Sports Fest and the HKUST-UM Sports Challenge Cup. This summer, the team was invited to participate in a television program in mainland China, where our performance received positive feedback. Recently, the team proudly won the 1st runner-up in the open category at a cheerleading competition in Hong Kong.

By joining the UM Cheerleading Team, you will be able to:

• Receive training twice a week, guided by professional coaches.
