“2023/2024 UM CICA Master’s Cup Cheerleading Competition” was held successfully

“2023/2024 UM CICA Master’s Cup Cheerleading Competition” was held successfully on 14 Apr. The Cheerleading Competition is a signature annual event for 10 RCs and it is jointly organized by Committee on Inter-College Affairs (CICA) and the Office of Sports Affairs (OSA).

Besides 300 participants and working personnel of the competition, it attracted over 700 staff and students to attend and support their RC teams on-site. The evaluation of the competition was based on different aspects: Teamwork, Technique, Implementation, Creativity, and Use of Sound and Props. Each team went out all to give the audiences their best and their impressive performance received warm applause and cheers from the audience. The result of CICA Cheerleading Competition are shown as below:

Champion : Stanley Ho East Asia College (SHEAC)
1st Runner-Up : Ma Man Kei and Lo Pak Sam College (MLC)
2nd Runner-Up : Choi Kai Yau College (CKYC)
3rd Runner-Up: Cheng Yu Tung College (CYTC)
4th Runner-Up: Cheong Kun Lun College (CKLC)

The cheerleading competition as the final event of the CICA Master’s Cup series competition, the CICA Master’s Cup awards ceremony was also conducted afterwards. Eventually, MLC won the 2nd Runner-Up, while CKLC won the 1st Runner-Up and SHEAC won the Championship.

	殷浩然 (Danny) 中國香港啦啦隊總會 永遠名譽會長 裁判 本人有幸出席是次澳大啦啦隊比賽活動，讓我加深了解澳大的發展及充滿活力和多姿多彩的校院生活。 各院校的啦啦隊健兒們通過各式各樣的舞蹈編排、齊心叫喊的口號、高低造型的疊羅漢、翻騰互動的動作以及配合得當的特技拋接等各種技術，各自編排出極具創意風格的及與衆不同的套路。從觀察這些套路演練過程中，亦使我充分感受到各隊伍運動員之間的相互信任、互動支持、以及以禮相待等行為，這正正是展現出各隊伍秉承著「仁、義、禮、知、信」的澳大校訓。 各運動隊伍中不分國籍、不分彼此、互相尊重、互相扶持，以團隊精神及創意理念完成了一套又一套具感染力的表演。這種無形的正能量產生以及協作精神將永遠伴隨著每一位參與者的心上。當大家完成學業走出校園後；當各位同學們準備投入灣區服務及貢獻國家的發展時，這種貯備已久的啦啦隊正能量將會發揮出超乎想像的力量！ 感謝各位同學們在啦啦隊訓練上付出的所有努力；亦感恩澳大各同事組織是次活動。讓我們一起努力推動「啦啦隊」文化，一起在未來建設一個更具正能量的大灣區！同學們加油！澳大加油！
	李穎婷 工商管理學院 /何鴻燊東亞書院 大三 對我而言這不僅僅是一場比賽，更是一個能夠點燃熱情、凝聚力量的舞台。各院隊在比賽中都展現了精彩的演出，再加上觀眾和各院隊之間的支持和歡呼助威，將比賽推向了最高點。這激勵了我們書院更加努力地對待比賽，最終獲得了冠軍。最後，希望透過這個比賽讓更多人認識到啦啦隊的魅力並參與其中，找到屬於自己的舞台！同時，也感謝主辦方和工作人員們的付出和努力，使比賽能順利進行。
	陳映君 CICA啦啦隊比賽統籌 社會科學學院/蔡繼有書院 大二 這次啦啦隊比賽戰況激烈，也出現了意想不到的結果，不過這也說明了啦啦隊比賽的水平越來越高，精彩程度一年比一年高。作為CICA比賽的重頭戲，今年吸引了眾多觀眾來觀看這精彩的賽事，觀眾的熱情也很高，歡呼聲一波接著一波，也透過書院的精彩比賽，看到了他們平時刻苦訓練的痕跡。希望CICA啦啦隊比賽越來越好！

Rock Climbing Experience (For UM International Students) was successfully held

A Rock Climbing Experience organized by OSA was successfully held in 7 Apr, attracting 23 adventurous and challenge-loving students. The activity not only provided an opportunity to experience the sport of rock climbing but also provided a platform for cultural exchange, attracting students from different countries.

During the activity, members of the UMSU Rock Climbing Club acted as student coaches, providing guidance and support to the participants. First, the student coaches explained the basic techniques and safety guidance of rock climbing to the participants. Subsequently, each participant had the opportunity to experience rock climbing and challenge their physical limits.

It is worth mentioning that this activity attracted not only international students but also some postgraduate students. The activity not only provided physical challenge but also facilitated cultural exchange, everyone encouraged and supported each other, forming friendships and learning from each other during the climbing process.

The atmosphere at the activity was lively and filled with laughter. Everyone enjoyed the rock climbing experience and provided positive feedback on the activity.

	Martin Di Lorito FAH/LCWC Exchange Student The Rock Climbing Activity was a great surprise. Even though it was my first experience, I think that the Club Members and Trainers have been excellent at explaining the fundamentals and letting us enjoy every minute of it. Thanks to this experience, in which I managed to reach the Top twice, I feel exceptionally motivated and enthusiastic to climb all other kinds of walls in my Life!
	盧思夷 教育學院 研究生二年級 第一次參加攀岩活動後，讓我覺得攀岩是人生一定要嘗試的體驗。讓我最深刻的感悟，一是不斷往前看，攀岩是需要持續專注的運動，眼睛總要往上去預判下一步，專注於自己的目標，不斷朝前看，不畏目標的高度才能無畏向上。二是自我突破，攀岩無疑是一想挑戰自我的運動，腳下踏出的每一步，都是對自己極限的考驗，要不斷超越自己的舒適區，積極尋求自我突破，勇敢嘗試新事物也能更好的認識自我。三是勇敢，攀岩需要勇氣，需要面對來自高空的恐懼和不確定性。在這過程中，我更能感受到，勇氣不是不害怕，而是怕了還敢，面對各種不確定性也能勇敢面對，更勇於挑戰，才能砥礪前進。總而言之，攀岩不僅是一項充滿挑戰的運動，也是valuable life lesson。
	鄺泳希 澳大學生會攀登會會長 社會科學學院/何鴻燊東亞書院  很高興這次能舉辦國際學生專場的攀岩體驗活動，雖然大部分同學都沒有接觸過攀岩這項運動，但是大家十分積極熱情，會勇於嘗試同時也互相鼓勵。我很感激各位國際學生可以抽出有時間來參與本次攀登會的活動，體驗攀岩運動。

Train the Trainer Programme (T.T.T.)
“2023 Elementary Basketball Referee and Table Officials Training Course” was held successfully

The Train the Trainer Programme (T.T.T.) – “2023 Elementary Basketball Referee and Table Officials Training Course” was held successfully. This course is co-organized by Office of Sports Affairs and Macau-China Basketball Association (中國澳門籃球總會).

Three students from the University of Macau have completed the theory and passed the written exam in the training course, they are TANG CHI FONG (FBA/MLC), CHEONG HAO IENG (FBA/MLC), and ZHANG JINGQI (FSS/LCWC). The three students will proceed to the next stage of training and internships to obtain Level C License Basketball Referee certifications.

Activity Review

	張婧琪 社會科學學院/呂志和書院 研究生 在上課前，籃球只是我的興趣和愛好，這次用更專業的手段和眼光去看籃球，有不一樣的賽場體驗。同時也感覺到了籃球運動員真的很累很辛苦，裁判也是一樣。 在課堂上，學到了很多籃球有關的專業知識，還有團隊合作能力和溝通的能力都有大幅度的提升。 日後，不僅僅以愛好的角度，會嘗試在裁判的角度看球；會以客觀公正的態度進行，不受個人情緒的影響。這將使體育運動不再只是關乎勝負，更加注重體育精神和比賽本身的價值。
	鄧梓鋒 工商管理學院/馬萬祺羅柏心書院 大學四年級 感謝教練同導師的悉心指導，讓我獲益良多。學習過程中，學會了更多籃球規則和裁判技巧。眼界大開，未來會繼續努力學習，培養公正判罰的素質。期許自己未來能夠成為一位優秀的籃球裁判。
	張巧瑩 工商管理學院/馬萬祺羅柏心書院 大學三年級 感謝澳大及澳門籃總提供是次寶貴的機會，參加是次培訓讓我獲得了豐富的專業知識和實習機會。我學到了籃球規則和紀錄方法的重要性。未來我將全心投入，不斷努力提升自己，以此為基礎追求在籃球裁判和紀錄員領域更大的成就。
