The 23rd Macao-wide English Speech Contest & 30th “21st Century Cup” National English Speaking Competition
Macao Regional Contest

Theme: Generations

Topics: College Category: How to bridge the gap between generations

Registration Eligibility:

• Full-time college students (higher education institutions; only undergraduate students, not postgraduate students)
• Must be enrolled in Macao schools and higher education institutions
• Mother tongue must not be English
• Must not have studied or stayed in an English-speaking country for more than one year
• If an applicant has won the ‘Champion’ prize in any previous Macao-wide English Speech Contest, they cannot compete again in the same category

Registration:
All applicants have to complete the Online Registration for the Contest. Contestants invited to the Finals must complete additional script and photo submissions.

Registration Period of College: 2nd to 17th September, 2024

Prizes:
All finalists receive a Certificate of Merit. For each category, the Champion, the First Runner-up, the Second Runner-up and the Best Speaker from Chinese-medium Schools will be awarded a trophy and cash prize.

Champion: MOP10,000

First Runner-up: MOP8,000

Second Runner-up: MOP6,000
