澳大中樂團學生在第42屆澳門青年音樂比賽中奪文化局大獎
由文化局主辦的“第四十二屆澳門青年音樂比賽”(中樂及西樂組別)日前圓滿結束。“澳門青年音樂比賽”旨在推動本地古典及民族音樂的發展,為本地青少年提供寶貴的演出平台和學習機會,提高青少年的音樂修養和演奏水平;鼓勵參賽學生積極發揮個人音樂潛質,以音符點亮人生,並逐漸走上音樂專業的道路。本屆比賽吸引了約950人次報名參加,“分組賽”於07月24日至08月11日期間舉行,“特別大獎賽”於08月15日舉行。
澳門大學中樂團打擊樂團員、來自工商管理學院、鄭裕彤書院的林卓誠參加了中國打擊樂(高級組)的比賽,並成功奪得“特別大獎賽”中樂獨奏“文化局大奬” (即中樂獨奏高級組總冠軍)。林卓誠在07月30日進行了中國打擊樂(高級組)之分組賽,並憑藉精湛的技藝和出色的表現成功晉級特別大獎賽。在08月15日的特別大獎賽中,他再次展現出過人的實力,最終獲得評委的一致認可,奪得中樂組別總冠軍。
此外,林卓誠還在慶祝中華人民共和國成立75周年暨澳門特別行政區成立25周年的「樂舞青春迎雙慶學生文藝匯演」中,領奏了李民雄先生創作的中國鑼鼓樂經典名曲《龍騰虎躍》。其精湛的技藝和深厚的中樂功底,為現場超千參與者帶來了一場視聽盛宴,亦讓觀眾對中國傳統音樂的魅力有了更深刻的感受。

UM Chinese Orchestra Student wins the Cultural Affairs Bureau’s Grand Prize in the 42nd Macao Young Musicians Competition
The 42nd Macao Young Musicians Competition, organized by the Cultural Affairs Bureau (ICM), has been successfully concluded in the Chinese and Western music categories. “The Macao Young Musicians Competition” aims to promote the development of local classical and Chinese music, to provide local youth with valuable performance platforms and learning opportunities, to enhance their musical cultivation and performance standards, and to encourage participating students to actively develop their musical potentials, to brighten up their lives with their musical notes, and to embark on the path of music professionalism. This year’s competition attracted about 950 participants.
Lam Cheok Seng from the Faculty of Business Administration and Cheng Yu Tung College, a percussionist of the UM Chinese Orchestra won “Cultural Affairs Bureau Prize (Chinese Instrumental Solo)”. Lam Cheok Seng competed in the Advanced Level of the Chinese Instrumental Solo category on July 30th and advanced to the Special Prizes Competition with his excellent skills and performance. In the “Special Grand Prize Competition” on August 15th, he demonstrated his music talent again and was unanimously recognized by the judges and won the overall championship, i.e. Cultural Affairs Bureau Prize (Chinese Instrumental Solo).
In addition, Lam Cheok Seng led the percussionists of the Chinese Orchestra to perform the classic Chinese piece “Soaring Dragons and Leaping Tigers”, composed by Mr. Li Minxiong, at the “Dancing to the Rhythm of Youth” Dual Celebration Students Variety Show. This event was held to celebrate the 75th Anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China and the 25th Anniversary of the establishment of the Macao Special Administrative Region. Lam’s exceptional technique and deep mastery of traditional Chinese music captivated the audience, earning him thunderous applause and highlighting the enduring appeal of Chinese musical traditions.
