Highlights of experience and mock tryout
UM Cheerleading Team Fun Day was successfully held
The UM Cheerleading Team Fun Day was held successfully on 28 Feb 2023 at UM Sports Complex (N8) and there was a total of 67 UM students participating in this activity.
Office of Sports Affairs (OSA) organized this event with the aim of providing an opportunity for UM students to interact with the university team members and experience team training through designated teaching sessions.
In order to let the participants to know more about our UM Cheerleading Team, every single team members as well as the team background and past achievements were introduced. Additionally, the basic cheerleading rules and regulations were explained by the team coach and members, and cheerleading skill demonstrations were conducted. Afterward, participants experienced three different types of training, followed by a mock tryout session in which half of the students participated and interacted with the UM cheerleading team members.
Both the participants and UM Cheerleading Team members enjoyed a lot in the Fun Day with positive feedback.
