CICA Masters’ Cup – 2024/2025 University of Macau ‘Constitution Law’ and ‘Basic Law’ Speech Contest – Final

Date: 09 October 2024 (Wednesday)

Time: 19:30（Please arrive 15 minutes earlier, the concert will start sharp）

Venue: E31-SAC Theatre

Theme: “Constitution Law” and “Basic Law” of Macao SAR

Participants: 15 speakers from the 10 Residential Colleges

This is an excellent opportunity to learn about the “Constitution Law” and “Basic Law” and appreciate the beauty of public speaking. After the preliminary selection, 15 outstanding speakers from 10 colleges will gather to present their insightful speeches on understanding the Constitution Law and Basic Law. Participants will showcase their charisma through their excellent oratory skills, competing for the final championship and striving for glory for their respective colleges!

1. Seats are being taken on a first-come-first-served basis;
2. Please present your student/staff card for check-in and check-out;

*Students who attend the WHOLE event will be awarded 1 Smart Point 25 “UM Competencies (CS)” on “Knowledge Integration” in the Whole Person Development Award Programme.

Please observe the following guidelines of the Smart Point scheme:

1. Students who arrive late or leave early within 10 minutes will be given only half a Smart Point.
2. Students who arrive late or leave early over 10 minutes will NOT be given any Smart Point.
3. Students who leave the venue during the activity for over 15 minutes will NOT be given any Smart Points.
4. Students are required to check in/out of the activity with their valid Student ID Card.
5. For those who do not respect the activity or ignore the staff’s guidance, the Student Affairs Office (SAO) reserves the right to cancel his/her Smart Point. SAO also reserves the right to interpret and process the Smart Point scheme.
