MCM College: Hiking in Taipa Grande
滿珍紀念書院:氹仔大潭山遠足
In order to help students relax after the midterm exams and prepare for the exams, the Dom Pedro V House of Moon Chun Memorial College, University of Macau, organized a “Hiking in Taipa Grande” event on November 09, 2024. Participants took a bus at 9 a.m. and went to the Taipa Grande Trail with 4000 meters for hiking. After hiking the grande, participants had lunch together at the restaurant “Sik Sik Kee” to share the joy of hiking. Some participants said that they were satisfied with the hiking experience in this event.

“This activity about Hiking in Taipa Grande gave us a chance to take a break from our busy study life and relax. Although the process of climbing required a lot of sweat, breathing the fresh air, and enjoying the beautiful scenery along the way, the fatigue of the daily was swept away. This activity not only gave us a chance to exercise, but also made me understand that a healthy lifestyle is crucial to improve the quality of life.” — Dylan Zheng

“This mountain climbing activity made me realize that the significance of climbing is not about reaching the summit, but about being able to maintain confidence in oneself through constant self breakdown. The mountaintop may be important, but the beautiful scenery along the way should not be ignored. Take every step steadily, surpass myself and break through limits time and time again. 為了讓同學們在期中考後能放鬆身心,為考試作好準備。澳門大學滿珍紀念學院於11月9日舉辦了 「氹仔大潭山遠足 」活動。參加者在早上9時前往長約4,000米的氹仔大潭山步行徑爬山遠足。在完成氹仔遠足後,參加者中午在「識食記」共聚午餐,分享爬山的喜悅。有參加者表示滿意次在氹仔大潭山遠足的體驗。
