“Through Prof. Harrison’s explanation of the core ideas of Buddhism, I had the opportunity to deeply experience this ancient philosophical wisdom, which has greatly benefited me. In the tense final period, I found relaxation for my body, mind, and spirit, allowing me to slow down and feel the people and things around me again, appreciating for every detail in life.” – Sandy Peng
“”This workshop has been very rewarding for me. The speaker’s discussion on the ‘Middle Way’ made me aware of my own attachments and encouraged me to use some of the methods I learned to overcome them. Additionally, the speaker’s mention of the ‘Four Immeasurables’ taught me to appreciate life, live in the present moment, and thus attain happiness.” – William Sun
“Under the guidance of the professor, I truly distanced myself from external distractions such as electronic devices and interpersonal relationships for the first time. I quietly and attentively enjoyed the vegetarian dinner specially prepared by the college, truly savoring the colors, aromas, and flavors of the food. I realized that my previous eating habits were like swallowing food without tasting it. This workshop not only enriched my knowledge but also provided me with effective methodologies and the joy of practical experience.” – Cynthia Guo
