News Express: UM students were awarded the Top Ten Outstanding Youth and Star Volunteer Awards
新聞快訊: 澳大同學榮獲十大優秀青年及星級義工獎
「2024 國際義工日慶祝日及優秀義工評審」頒獎禮日前在菩提社會服務大樓舉行。這次頒獎禮由澳門義務工作者協會主辦,澳門教育及青年發展局贊助,向社會各界頒發優秀義工獎項。本校教育學院三年級的霍英東珍禧書院梁明暄同學及人文學院三年級的呂志和書院、榮譽學院洪譽庭同學榮獲十大優秀青年義工獎。另外,教育學院三年級的馬萬祺羅柏心書院李師靜、工商管理學院三年級的霍英東珍禧書院羅紫涵及工商管理學院二年級的鄭裕彤書院劉潔旻均獲得星級義工獎勵。
當日,由澳門義務工作者協會顧問梁啟賢博士致辭表示,期望通過是次活動讓大眾認識義務工作,在評審期間每位義工分享的當義工小故事中,鼓勵義工們可持續進行義務工作,秉承聯合國可持續發展目標的方向服務社會。
其中獲得十大優秀青年義工獎的梁明暄同學在表示十分榮幸獲得這次獎項,非常感謝澳大和書院對她的認可,以及主辦方和各位評審對她的肯定,還有家人背後的支持。她在中學時期有很多義工經驗,以致於將義工精神延續到大學,大學提供豐富的平臺給予她發揮的空間。「每一個小舉動,都是一份大貢獻」,義工服務領域眾多,校內校外有不少的服務機會,她希望鼓勵更多人接觸義工活動。

而洪譽庭同學因事未能出席頒獎禮,再次祝賀五位得獎同學。

“International Volunteer Day 2024: Outstanding Volunteer Assessment” Awards Ceremony was recently held at the Bodhi Social Service Building. The award ceremony was organized by the Association of Volunteer Social Service Macao and sponsored by the Macau Education and Youth Development Bureau. The ceremony aimed to recognize outstanding volunteers from various sectors of society. LIANG Mingxuan, a third-year student from Faculty of Education and Henry Fok Pearl Jubilee College and HONG Yuting, a third-year student from Faculty of Arts and Humanities, Honor College and Lui Che Woo College, were honored with the Top Ten Outstanding Youth Volunteer Awards. Furthermore, LUO Zihan, a third-year student from Faculty of Business and Administration and Henry Fok Pearl Jubilee College, LI Shijing, a third-year student from Faculty of Education and Ma Men Kei and Lo Pak Sam College and LAU Kit Man, a second-year student from Faculty of Business and Administration and Cheng Yu Tung, were honored with the Star Volunteer Awards.
During the event, Kai Yin LEUNG, Advisor of the Association of Volunteer Social Service Macao, expressed his expectation that this event would raise public awareness of volunteer work. During the assessment period, each volunteer shared their own stories, encouraging them to continue their volunteer efforts and serve society in line with the Sustainable Development Goals from United Nation.
Liang Mingxuan, who received the top ten Outstanding Young Volunteer Award, expressed that she feels deeply honored to receive this recognition. She extended her heartfelt gratitude to the UM, HFPJC, the organizer for their affirmation and strong support from her family. She shared that her extensive volunteering experience during high school inspired her to carry the spirit of volunteerism into university life. The university provided her with a rich platform to showcase her abilities. She remarked, “Every small action is a great contribution.” With numerous volunteering opportunities both on and off-campus, she hopes to encourage more people to get involved in volunteer activities.
