The UM Symphonic Band’s concert, “A Simple Dialogue”, held on 29 November 2024, was a resounding success!

This special event celebrated Macau’s unique cultural heritage, emphasizing the Chinese-Lusophone identity through music and the arts. It was part of our festivities commemorating the 75th Anniversary of the People’s Republic of China and the 25th Anniversary of the Macao SAR.

“A Simple Dialogue” offered an enchanting evening filled with diverse performances. Talented students from the Portuguese Department and the Confucius Institute, including Queenie Chan, Sio Kuan, and Liliana Duarte, captivated the audience with their poetry recitations. Additionally, Mr. Arnold Leong showcased his exceptional talent with a solo performance on the sheng, while the local music group “Fado Oriente” delighted attendees with traditional fado, adding richness to the experience.

這場特別活動慶祝了澳門獨特的文化遺產，強調了中葡身份在音樂和藝術中的融合。它是我們慶祝中華人民共和國成立75周年及澳門特別行政區成立25周年的活動之一。

“A Simple Dialogue” 為觀眾帶來了一個充滿多元表演的迷人夜晚。來自人文學院葡文系的學生陳少君和孔子學院學生Liliana Duarte以詩朗誦吸引了觀眾的注意。此外，梁宇軒先生以笙獨奏展示了其卓越的才華，當地音樂團體“Fado Oriente”也以傳統法多音樂打動了在場的每一位，為整個活動增添了豐富的色彩。
