Manage Weight by participating the Body Fat Reduction Challenge
誠邀有意控制體重人士參加減脂大作戰
親愛的同事及同學們:
農曆新年將至,大家或會與親朋好友在佳節聚會及吃喝玩樂。為有效控制體重,注重均衡飲食及適量運動,安健及環境事務辦公室誠邀有意保持理想體重及體內脂肪率的教職員及學生於佳節後進行「減脂大作戰」。詳情如下:
參加資格:身體質量指數(BMI)≧23 或 腰圍≧90厘米(男性)或≧80厘米(女性) 的澳大教職員及學生均可參加
作戰時段:2025年2月3日至3月2日
目標:減少體內脂肪率2%或以上
有意參加者填寫電子報名表 –> 本辦公室通知參加者到澳大醫療中心測量體內脂肪率及由醫生評估以確定作戰資格 –> 於作戰時段實行均衡飲食及適量運動,亦可參加體育事務部的運動班(課堂內容將以電郵發給合資格的參加者) –> 作戰時段結束後到澳大醫療中心測量體內脂肪率 –> 達標的參加者可獲證書及獎品。

備註:成功達標的學生健康環保大使可獲3個HEP FUN。

Dear colleagues and students,
Lunar New Year is coming. It’s time to celebrate the festival with families and friends. To manage weight effectively and to have a balanced diet as well as adequate exercise, Office of Health, Safety and Environmental Affairs cordially invites staff and students who would like to keep a desirable body weight as well as body fat percentage to participate in the “Body Fat Reduction Challenge” after the CNY holidays. Details as below:
Eligibility: UM staff and students who have BMI ≧23 or waist circumference ≧90cm (male) or ≧80cm (female)
Challenge period: 3rd February to 2nd March 2025
Target: reduce the body fat percentage by 2% or more
Process:
Interested staff and students fill in the e-form –> HSEO will inform interested participants to measure their body fat percentage and to assess their eligibility by the doctor at Medical Center of UM –> have a balanced diet and adequate exercise during the challenge period; participants may also join the exercise classes organized by OSA (details of the classes will be sent to eligible participants by e-mail) –> measure body fat percentage after the challenge period –> successful participants will be awarded with certificates and prizes.
Registration: Please fill in the e-form by 14th January 2025 –> STAFF e-form / STUDENT e-form
Remark: Successful student Health & EP Ambassadors will be granted 3 HEP FUN.
