澳大持續進修中心與香港大學專業進修學院合作為雲南大學的學生開辦領導力與跨文化交流專題培訓班
澳門大學持續進修中心於1月14日至18日,與香港大學專業進修學院合作,為25名雲南大學的學生開辦“領導力與跨文化交流專題培訓課程”。
為期5天的培訓班包含了多場專題講座和參訪活動,內容豐富,全程以英語授課。課題包括“領導者的批判性思維與决策”、“領導者公開演說技巧”、“創新如何推動經濟增長:大數據與科技創新”以及“跨文化交流與全球視野”。在校内參訪環節中,學生們前往工商管理學院參觀貨幣博物館和博彩實驗室,對澳門的貨幣史和龍頭產業都有了一定的認識。結業禮上學生代表發表感言,認為通過本次培訓,同學們體驗到了港澳兩地的風情面貌,和有別於内地的教學風格,令自己開闊了視野,收穫非常多,希望之後再有機會來港澳學習。
雲南大學是我國西部邊疆最早建立的綜合性大學之一。1978年,雲南大學被國務院確定爲全國88所重點大學之一。1996年首批列入國家“211工程”重點建設大學,2001年列入西部大開發重點建設院校,2004年成爲教育部和雲南省人民政府重點共建高校,2012年成爲國家“中西部高校基礎能力建設工程”和“中西部高校綜合實力提升工程”實施院校,2017年成爲國家首批42所“一流大學”建設高校之一,2018年躋身中西部14所“以部爲主、部省合建”高校行列,2022年,繼續入選第二輪國家“雙一流”建設高校。
本次培訓活動再次與香港大學專業進修學院合作,透過跨城市學術交流,持續推動粵港澳大灣區聯動的持續進修教育合作新模式的發展。
CCE collaborated with HKU SPACE to organize a training course on Leadership and Cross-Cultural Communication for Students from Yunnan University
From January 14 to 18, The University of Macau (UM) Centre for Continuing Education (CCE), in collaboration with HKU SPACE, organized a training course on Leadership and Cross-Cultural Communication for 25 students from Yunnan University.
The five-day program consist of several lectures and visits, with all sessions conducted in English. The lectures covered a wide range of topics, including “Critical Thinking and Decision-Making for Leaders”, “Public Speaking Skills for Leaders”, “How Innovation Drives Economic Growth: Big Data and Technological Innovation”, and “Cross-Cultural Communication and Global Perspectives”. During the on-campus visits, students went to Mock Casino and Currency Museum in FBA, gaining insights into Macau’s monetary history and its leading industry. At the closing ceremony, a student representative expressed that they had a good chance to learn more about the culture of Hong Kong and Macau. The program broadened their horizons and provided a wealth of valuable experiences.
Yunnan University, one of the earliest comprehensive universities established in China’s western frontier, has a rich history of academic excellence. In 1978, it was designated as one of the country’s 88 key universities by the State Council. It was among the first universities included in the national “211 Project” in 1996 and was selected as a priority institution under the Western Development Program in 2001. In 2017, Yunnan University was recognized as one of the first 42 universities to participate in the “Double First-Class Initiative,” and in 2022, it continued its inclusion in the second phase of the national “Double First-Class” initiative.
This training program represents another successful collaboration between UM CCE and HKU SPACE. Through cross-city academic exchanges, the program continues to promote the development of a new model of continuing education cooperation within the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
