Reminders for the Chinese New Year holidays
有關春節假期之提醒事項
親愛的同事及同學們：
新春佳節即將來臨，師生外遊、回鄉或參與節慶活動期間，請提高衛生意識，做好日常衛生防護，接種季節性流感疫苗（詳情可瀏覽：https://www.ssm.gov.mo/apps1/vaccine2/ch.aspx#clg11591）；同時，注意身體變化，倘出現呼吸道感染病徵或發熱，應及早求診和就醫，避免病情加重及減少疾病傳播。
外出參與慶祝活動須注意安全和保管好個人財物，避免財物外露；提防電訊詐騙，切勿輕信陌生人及進行匯款，如有懷疑，可使用司警局“反詐程式”查核風險指數或致電司警局防詐騙查詢熱線88007777。
此外，建議出行前合理規劃行程，並請預先瞭解當地的法例政策、社會及治安情況、天氣信息、流行病資訊等；同時，亦可準備一份當地緊急部門聯絡清單，如遇上突發事故，可聯絡相關部門或中國駐當地的使領館尋求協助。

Dear colleagues and students,
The Chinese New Year festival is approaching. When traveling abroad, returning home, or participating in festive activities, colleagues and students are advised to raise their hygiene awareness, take daily hygiene precautions, and get vaccinated against seasonal influenza (for details, please visit: https://www.ssm.gov.mo/apps1/vaccine2/en.aspx#clg11591). At the same time, pay attention to body changes. If you develop symptoms of respiratory infection or fever, you should seek medical advice as soon as possible to avoid worsening of the sickness and reduce the spread of the disease.
When going out to participate in celebrations, you must pay attention to safety, take good care of your personal belongings and avoid exposing them. Beware of telecommunications fraud, and do not trust strangers or make money transfers. If you have any doubts, you can use the Judiciary Police’s “Anti-Fraud App” to check the risk index or call the Judiciary Police’s Anti-Fraud enquiry hotline at 88007777.
In addition, it is recommended to plan your trip reasonably before traveling. Understand in advance the local laws and policies, social and public security conditions, weather information, epidemic information, etc. At the same time, you can also prepare a list of local emergency department contacts. In case of emergencies, you can contact the relevant departments or the Chinese Embassy or Consulate in the local area for assistance.
