Work Ethics and Administrative Attendance of Staff Members
大學人員的工作操守及行政出勤
Dear Colleagues,
The University’s pursuit of excellence in education, research, and community services has been driving the continuous elevation of its academic standards and achievements. It is equally important to broadly share our ethical values and conduct codes among all staff members in the University.
According to Sub-items 2 and 4 of Item 1 of Article 12 of The Personnel Statute of the University of Macau, all staff members of the University are required to fulfil their duties diligently and punctually, work passionately, and execute their responsibilities with loyalty and selflessness. All staff members should fully commit to their assigned work duties throughout their working hours, exercising utmost responsibility and integrity in utilisation of the University’s resources. These ethical values and conduct are important not only for personal career development, but also for enhancing the overall efficiency and reputation of our University. Article 12 of Chapter 1 of the Rules of the Personnel Affairs of the University of Macau and the Guidelines for Check-In/Out Process of Administrative Staff stipulate the working hours and attendance regime for administrative staff members, including the following key points, which must be strictly adhered to:

The University maintains policies that are designed to foster a respectful and responsible work culture and environment, we kindly remind all colleagues to comply and respect the above stipulations. Staff members encountering challenges in complying with these policies should seek guidance and communicate with their supervisors. Please note that any disciplinary infraction will prompt an investigation, and disciplinary procedures will be applied in accordance with the disciplinary actions as stipulated in Section IX of The Personnel Statute of the University of Macau.
