On Saturday, 22 March, 2025, MCM College welcomed 50 student delegations and representatives from Beijing Normal University (Zhuhai) Huitong College for a day of college life at Moon Chun Memorial College, University of Macau.

The full-day event began with the visit to UM’s facilities, including the State Key Laboratory of Quality Research in Chinese Medicine and the Centre for Cognitive and Brain Sciences. Following this, the group visited the college, where students from both institutions exchanged ideas about the college’s educational culture and discussed the topic of “AI Empowerment in Entrepreneurship: Interdisciplinary Innovation and Future Trends.” Students from various academic backgrounds shared their perspectives, discussing AI’s innovative applications in traditional industries, as well as opportunities and challenges in emerging entrepreneurial fields. This exchange sparked new ideas for their future academic and entrepreneurial paths.

After a morning of learning and exchanges, the delegation went for lunch at the College’s dining hall with MCMC staff and students, continuing to experience the unique characteristics of the UMRC’s communal dining education. After lunch, the delegation continued their tour at the University of Macau Gallery and the library before heading to the Macau Museum to explore the cultural and historical transformations of Macao. At the museum, they gained a richer understanding of how Macao evolved from a small fishing village into an international city, as well as the unique charm of the fusion between Eastern and Western cultures, showcased through valuable artifacts and historical photographs. This day’s experience not only deepened the understanding of the University of Macau among the teachers and students from Beijing Normal University but also offered them greater insights into Macao’s historical culture and modern development.
