在近日舉辦的“2025外研社英語辯論公開賽暨第四屆粵港澳大灣區大學生英語辯論賽”中，來自多所高校的優秀辯論隊伍齊聚一堂，展現了大學生在英語辯論領域的才華與風采。澳門大學英語辯論隊表現卓越，榮獲亞軍並摘得多項獎項，充分彰顯其出色的辯論實力。
澳大英辯隊派出4支隊伍參賽，其中3支成功晉級。來自人文學院、張崑崙書院的劉思岑與法學院、滿珍紀念書院的陳清桐進入大學組決賽，榮獲大學組季軍。另外兩支隊伍則晉級公開組：人文學院、鄭裕彤書院的王含玉與人文學院、蔡繼有書院的王熙睿挺進公開組半決賽；社會科學學院、張崑崙書院的王思哲與社會科學學院、霍英東珍禧書院的張楷闖入公開組決賽，獲得季軍並贏得第27屆“外研社‧國才盃”全國大學生英語辯論賽決賽外卡。此外，王含玉與王熙睿分別榮獲大學組第一及第三最佳辯手，王思哲與張楷則獲公開組第四最佳辯手。
本次賽事不僅為參賽者提供了展示自我的舞台，也為全國大學生搭建了交流合作的橋樑。通過辯論，學生們提升了英語能力，鍛煉了邏輯思維與表達技巧，並加深了對社會議題的理解與反思。未來，澳門大學將持續支持英語辯論活動，培養更多優秀辯論人才，促進學生全面發展。
The 2025 FLTRP English Debating Open and the 4th Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area College Universities Debating Championship concluded successfully
The 2025 FLTRP English Debating Open (Greater Bay Area), which was also the Fourth Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Universities Debating Championship held recently, outstanding debating teams from many universities gathered together to demonstrate the talents and style of college students in the field of English debating. The University of Macau English Debating Team performed well, winning second place and several awards, demonstrating its excellent debating ability.
The UM English Debating Team members joined the competition in four teams, and three teams stood out and successfully advanced. Among them, Liu Si Cen from the Faculty of Arts and Humanities, Cheong Kun Lun College, and Chan Cheng Tong from the Faculty of Law, Moon Chun Memorial College advanced to the university category and successfully entered the final of the university category, and finally won the third prize in the university category. The other two teams advanced to the open category. After three rounds of the final round, Wang Han Yu from the Faculty of Arts and Humanities, Cheng Yu Tung College, and Wang Xi Rui from the Faculty of Arts and Humanities, Choi Kai Yau College advanced to the semi-finals of the open category; and Wang Si Zhe from the Faculty of Social Sciences, Cheong Kun Lun College, and Zhang Kai from the Faculty of Social Sciences, Henry Fok Pearl Jubilee College successfully reached the final round of the open category and won the third place award and won the final wild card of the 27th “FLTRP · ETIC Cup” National College Students English Debating Competition. In addition, Wang Han Yu and Wang Xi Rui won the first and third best debaters in the university category respectively, and Wang Si Zhe and Zhang Kai won the fourth best debaters in the open category.
This competition not only provides a platform for the players to show themselves but also builds a bridge for national college students to exchange and cooperate. Through debating, students not only improve their English skills, but also exercise their logical thinking and expression skills, and enhance their understanding and reflection on social issues. In the future, the University of Macau will continue to support the English Debating Team, cultivate more excellent debating talents, and promote the all-round development of students.
