The exhibition “Winds of Confluence: The Story of Macao in the Historical Archives of the Ming and Qing Dynasties”, a collaboration between the University of Macau and the First Historical Archives of China, has garnered widespread acclaim since its debut. Due to overwhelming public enthusiasm, the exhibition, originally scheduled to close on March 31st, will now be extended through July 20th.
This captivating display delves into the historical archives of the Ming and Qing dynasties, vividly illuminating Macao’s rich historical journey. It has captured the attention of diverse sectors of Macao society and earned praise from scholars both locally and abroad. Many residents and academics have returned multiple times to immerse themselves in its compelling narratives. With over 100,000 visitors to date, the exhibition reflects a profound community interest in Macao’s cultural and historical heritage.
In response to this enthusiastic support, the University of Macau and the First Historical Archives of China are delighted to extend the exhibition, offering even more opportunities for audiences to explore Macao’s storied past. 由澳門大學與中國第一歷史檔案館攜手舉辦的「風起濠鏡：明清歷史檔案中的澳門故事」展覽，自開幕以來廣受各界好評，迴響熱烈。原訂於3月31日結束的展覽，現決定延長展期至7月20日。
