The Deification of Objects and Their Symbolic System: A New Interpretation of 大駕鹵簿圖書

「物」的神格化及其象徵性系統——《大駕鹵簿圖書》新解

《大駕鹵簿圖書》以恢弘的氣勢記錄了皇帝祭天時的盛大場面,其儀制之完善、分工之明晰,展現了泱泱大國的風範。

《大駕鹵簿圖書》的年代及作者聚訟紛紜,所涉問題非常廣泛。此講座主要討論畫中“龍旗十二”的源流、“物”的神格化和象徵性系統,以及全畫的圖式結構如何模仿天象圖,其象徵性系統語義為何?中道的輦輅象馬,旌節旗纛,簫鼓鐃吹與軍事行動的關係等,旨在從結構語言學的角度,結合天文考古學的視野,解讀《大駕鹵簿圖書》的文化密碼,揭示“物”的神格化及象徵性系統在繪畫中的重要性。

The dating and authorship of 大駕鹵簿圖書 have long been subjects of debate, involving a wide range of issues. This lecture primarily explores the origins of the “Dragon Banner Twelve,” the deification of objects and their symbolic system, as well as how the overall pictorial structure of the painting emulates celestial charts and the semantic implications of its symbolic system. It also examines the central palanquin and its horse-like figures, ceremonial banners and flags, musical instruments such as flutes, drums, and bells, and their relationship to military operations. By adopting a structural linguistic approach and integrating insights from archaeoastronomy, this lecture aims to decode the cultural symbols embedded in 大駕鹵簿圖書, revealing the significance of object deification and symbolic systems in painting.
