澳門大學在國際辯論公開賽奪新人組冠軍
由BIDO賽事組協會主辦的 2025年北京國際辯論公開賽(Beijing International Debate Open) 已於4月4日至4月6日在北京外國語大學圓滿落幕。本次賽事匯聚了來自北京大學、清華大學、北京外國語大學、上海外國語大學、澳門科技大學等多所知名高校的100餘名辯手參與,競爭激烈。
澳門大學英文辯論隊此次派出三支隊伍參賽,隊員包括:社會科學學院、張崑崙書院的王思哲同學與社會科學學院、霍英東書院的張楷;人文學院、張崑崙書院的劉思岑與人文學院、蔡繼有書院的鄧霖迪;以及人文學院、蔡繼有書院的王熙睿與工商管理學院、鄭裕彤書院的朱帥榕。
澳大辯手在比賽中展現了卓越的語言能力和思辨技巧。其中,王思哲與張楷成功晉級公開組十二強,表現亮眼;而劉思岑與鄧霖迪更在新人組中脫穎而出,勇奪冠軍,為澳大贏得殊榮。
通過與來自全國各地的優秀辯手交流切磋,澳大英文辯論隊不僅提升了英語表達與辯論技能,還深化了對不同議題的理解與參與意識,充分體現了「以言為劍、以思為盾」的辯論精神。展望未來,澳大英文辯論隊將繼續致力於校園辯論文化的發展,積極開拓國內外交流的舞台。

University of Macau Won Novice Championship at The International Debate Open
The 2025 Beijing International Debate Open (BIDO), hosted by the BIDO Tournament Association, successfully concluded from April 4 to 6, 2025, at Beijing Foreign Studies University. This esteemed competition brought together over 100 debaters from leading institutions, including Peking University, Tsinghua University, Beijing Foreign Studies University, Shanghai International Studies University, and Macau University of Science and Technology, showcasing fierce intellectual rivalry.
The University of Macau (UM) English Debating Team participated with three talented teams: Wang Sizhe from the Faculty of Social Sciences and Cheong Kun Lun College; Zhang Kai from the Faculty of Social Sciences and Henry Fok Pearl Jubilee College; and Liu Sicen from the Faculty of Arts and Humanities, paired with Deng Lindi from the Faculty of Arts and Humanities and Choi Kai Yau College, along with Wang Xirui from the Faculty of Arts and Humanities and Choi Kai Yau College, and Zhu Shuarong from the Faculty of Business Administration and Cheng Yu Tung College.
UM’s debaters displayed outstanding linguistic prowess and critical thinking throughout the tournament. Wang Sizhe and Zhang Kai advanced impressively to the top 12 in the Open Category, while Liu Sicen and Deng Lindi excelled in the Novice Category, securing the championship title and earning accolades for the University of Macau.
Through spirited exchanges with top debaters from across China, the UM English Debating Team sharpened their English proficiency and debating skills while deepening their understanding of diverse issues and commitment to civic engagement. This experience vividly reflected the debating ethos of “words as swords, thoughts as shields.” Looking ahead, the team is dedicated to cultivating a robust debating culture on campus and expanding opportunities for both domestic and international exchange.
