UM won “The 23rd HKUST-UM Sports Challenge Cup”

The HKUST-UM Sports Challenge Cup (澳科盃體育挑戰賽) has been a yearly event since 2000 and it promotes exchange of skills and friendship between students of University of Macau (UM) and Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST).  However, this activity is being suspended for 3 years (2020-2022) due to epidemic situation. We are so glad that the exchange activity is being hosted by HKUST on 12 Apr (Sat) this year.

Over 400 participants from both universities had joined this meaningful activity and UM sent a delegation of 191 athletes, coaches and staff from Office of Sports Affairs, UM sports teams and Sports Association of UMSU. 

There were a total of 13 sports competition events including Badminton, Men’s Basketball, Dragon Boat, Korfball, Sport Climbing, Men’s Soccer, Squash, Swimming, Table Tennis, Tennis, Track and Field, Men’s & Women’s Volleyball.  Finally, UM won the 23nd HKUST-UM Sports Challenge Cup this year.
