The Centre for Teaching and Learning Enhancement (CTLE) would like to cordially invite you to take part in the CTLE Professional Development Workshop: Assessments and Grades in a Disruptive World: New Ideas – New Approaches with Prof. Spencer Benson (Education Innovations International Consulting, LLC).
Assessments and grades are stressors that contribute to students’ anxieties and stress while being powerful motivators for learning and a required academic component. This interactive session will involve presentation and discourse. Participants will discuss: assessment of learning, for learning and as learning and the roles for each in online and traditional classroom classes. Innovative assessments using new and traditional technologies that can foster deeper learning and mitigate student stress will be shared.
