澳大辦杯芳烴國際會議暨葫蘆脲國際會議聯合會議
由澳門大學、澳門特別行政區科學技術發展基金、澳門超分子化學與生物材料學會聯合主辦的第十八屆杯芳烴國際會議暨第八屆葫蘆脲國際會議聯合會議於6月1至5日在澳門舉行，吸引全球20多個國家共300多名學者齊聚澳門，共探超分子科學的前沿突破，以及在生物醫學、材料科學等領域的應用，展開深度學術互動。
開幕式上，澳大副校長馬許願（Rui Martins）表示，澳大始終致力推動國際合作與跨學科研究，通過與全球頂尖機構的合作，持續搭建跨文化、跨學科與跨科學傳統的橋樑。他又指，澳大中華醫藥研究院的研究完美體現了將傳統知識與現代科學相融合的願景，很榮幸看到相關的研究站在超分子科學領域全球對話的前沿。
澳門科技基金行政委員會主席謝永強表示，澳門科技基金通過資助前沿科研項目及促進國際合作，致力於提升澳門的研究競爭力，並加速科研成果轉化，實現實際影響；是次會議正是這一使命的生動體現。大會主席王瑞兵表示，超分子科學正通過與人工智慧、納米技術的交叉融合，推動生物醫藥、材料科學等領域的突破性進展。
研討會匯聚中國、美國、英國、韓國、日本、德國、葡萄牙等地的學者，圍繞杯芳烴、葫蘆脲及相關大環化合物的合成與組裝、分子識別、生物醫學應用、材料科學交叉等前沿領域展開深度交流。大會還特邀了中國科學院院士張希、王梅祥，美國科學院院士／中國科學院外籍院士Jonathan Sessler，韓國科學院院士Jong Seung Kim、Kimoon Kim、Myongsoo Lee，劍橋大學教授 Oren A. Scherman，京都大學教授Tomoki Ogoshi等16位國際超分子科學領域頂尖學者參加會議並作大會報告，通過大會報告、平行論壇、海報展示及文化交流搭建國際化的學術合作平台。
出席開幕式的嘉賓還包括澳門特別行政區政府教育及青年發展局高等教育廳廳長許嘉路、澳門大學中華醫藥研究院院長兼中藥質量研究國家重點實驗室主任陳新、南粵科技園首席運營官梁城等。

UM organises Joint Conference on Calixarenes & Cucurbiturils
The 18th International Conference on Calixarenes and the 8th International Conference on Cucurbiturils, jointly organised by the University of Macau (UM), the Science and Technology Development Fund (FDCT) of the Macao SAR, and the Macau Society of Supramolecular Chemistry and Biomaterials, were held in conjunction in Macao from 1 to 5 June. The joint conference brought together over 300 scholars from more than 20 countries to explore the latest breakthroughs in supramolecular chemistry and its applications in biomedical sciences, materials science, and related fields.
In his opening address, UM Vice Rector Rui Martins said that UM is committed to fostering international cooperation and interdisciplinary research, and connecting different cultures and disciplines by collaborating with leading institutions worldwide. He also highlighted the efforts of UM’s Institute of Chinese Medical Sciences (ICMS) in integrating traditional knowledge and modern science, and in pioneering research in supramolecular chemistry.
Che Weng Keong, president of the Administrative Committee of FDCT, said that the joint conference demonstrated FDCT’s dedication to enhancing Macao’s research capabilities and accelerating the transformation of research results. Wang Ruibing, professor in ICMS and conference chair, said that supramolecular chemistry is driving groundbreaking advancements in the fields of biomedical sciences and materials science through interdisciplinary integration with artificial intelligence and nanotechnology.
The joint conference featured plenary lectures, parallel sessions, and a poster session, facilitating in-depth discussions among scholars from around the world. Key topics included the synthesis and self-assembly of calixarenes, cucurbiturils, and related macrocycles; molecular recognition and sensing; biomedical applications; and materials science.
