澳大教授梁藍波與博士楊超獲德國紅點獎至尊獎

澳門大學人文學院藝術設計中心主任、特聘教授梁藍波與澳大博士畢業生楊超合作的設計作品《乾杯吧,澳門!》榮獲2024年度德國紅點獎至尊獎。紅點獎被喻為“設計界的奧斯卡”,紅點獎至尊獎則是紅點獎中的最高榮譽之一,獲此殊榮的設計均展現出卓越的創意和傑出的品質。

紅點獎品牌與傳播設計大獎頒獎典禮在柏林舉行,吸引了來自世界各地的設計師和設計界的重要嘉賓。梁藍波和楊超獲邀上台領獎,評委會在頒獎典禮上盛讚他們的作品“完美融合了藝術、字體設計、傳統技藝(中國狂草書法)和國際消費品,展現了對環保癥結的當代思考,非常絕妙。”他們的作品還獲選《最佳品牌和傳達設計—2024年紅點獎獲獎作品選展》和《2024年世界最佳傳達設計》等,並在柏林傳媒博物館、德國艾森紅點博物館和世界各地的紅點博物館巡迴展出。

紅點獎始創於1955年,至今已有70年的歷史,與德國的iF設計獎和美國的IDEA獎並稱為世界三大設計獎。紅點獎秉持嚴格的評審標準,每年在全球評選和表彰傑出的設計,出版精裝的獲獎作品年鑒,推動設計的創新和發展,引領國際設計潮流,成為行業的標杆。今屆的紅點至尊獎獲獎作品來自全球50多個著名品牌,包括2024年法國巴黎奧運會、法國路易威登、德國漢莎航空、美國IBM、加拿大龐巴迪商務飛機、韓國現代汽車和韓國首爾國家現當代藝術博物館等的設計團隊,以及日本著名設計大師、優衣庫品牌創意總監佐藤可士和等重要設計師。

梁藍波亦是曹光彪書院副院長。他曾為澳大培養了不少優秀的博士和碩士生,其中包括博士畢業生楊超。楊超現已獲聘為北京航空航天大學教授。梁藍波的作品曾獲獎120多項,包括美國好設計金獎、紐約《創意季刊》國際美術大賽金獎、意大利A’設計獎銀獎、美國繆斯設計獎銀獎等,並獲得中國的“國家藝術基金”和中國傳播領域十分重要的“長城獎”,其作品曾獲選參加世界各地國際性或全國性的重要聯展460多個,展出於史丹福大學坎托藝術中心(史丹福藝術博物館)、明尼阿波利斯美術館、舊金山亞洲藝術博物館、北京故宮博物院、中國國家博物館、中國美術館、北京今日美術館、北京時代美術館、香港大學美術博物館、湖北美術館、廣東美術館、關山月美術館、深圳美術館、深圳市當代藝術與城市規劃館等世界數百個美術館。

UM professor Lampo Leong and doctoral graduateDr Chao Yang receive ‘Red Dot Award: Best of the Best’ in Germany

Lampo Leong, Distinguished Professor and director of the Centre for Arts and Design in the Faculty of Arts and Humanities at the University of Macau (UM), and Chao Yang, a doctoral graduate of UM, received the 2024 ‘Red Dot Award: Best of the Best’ in Germany for their design Cheers, Macau!. Known as the ‘Oscars of the design world’ and ranked among the world’s top three most prestigious design honours, the Red Dot Award celebrates outstanding design, with the ‘Red Dot Award: Best of the Best’ being one of the highest distinctions, awarded only to works that demonstrate exceptional creativity and superior quality. The winners of the 2024 ‘Red Dot Award: Best of the Best’ include design teams from over 50 globally renowned brands such as the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, Louis Vuitton, Lufthansa, IBM, Bombardier, Hyundai Motor Company, and the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art in Seoul, as well as acclaimed designers such as Kashiwa Sato, creative director of UNIQLO.

The award ceremony of the Red Dot Award: Brands & Communication Design 2024 was held in Berlin, where Prof Leong and Dr Yang received their award. The jury described their work as stunning, calling it ‘a beautiful blend of art, typography, ancient techniques (wild cursive Chinese calligraphy), and international consumer products that reflects a contemporary awareness of environmental issues.’ Their work was also selected for exhibitions such as the ‘Best Brands & Communication Design – Red Dot Winners Selection 2024’ and ‘World’s Best Communication Design 2024 and Highlights from NRW’. It has been showcased at the Museum of Communication Berlin and the Red Dot Design Museum Essen, and will be exhibited in other Red Dot museums worldwide.

Prof Leong also serves as associate master of Chao Kuang Piu College at UM. He has mentored many master’s and doctoral students, including Chao Yang, who is now a full professor at Beihang University. Prof Leong has received over 120 international awards, including a gold award at American Good Design, a gold medal at the Creative Quarterly International Arts Competition in New York, a Silver A’ Design Award in Italy, and a silver award at the MUSE Design Awards in the US. He has also been awarded funding from the China National Arts Fund and honoured with the Great Wall Award, one of the highest accolades in the field of communication in China. His works have been selected for over 460 national and international exhibitions and have been featured in museums around the world. These include the Cantor Arts Center at Stanford University, the Minneapolis Institute of Art, the Asian Art Museum of San Francisco, the Palace Museum in Beijing, the National Museum of China, the National Art Museum of China, Today Art Museum in Beijing, Times Art Museum in Beijing, the University Museum and Art Gallery of the University of Hong Kong, Hubei Museum of Art, Guangdong Museum of Art, Guan Shanyue Art Museum, Shenzhen Art Museum, and the Shenzhen Museum of Contemporary Art and Urban Planning.
