澳門大學普通話辯論隊參與“慶祝創校百周年活動鏡湖盃辯論邀請賽”
澳門大學普通話辯論隊於2023年3月25日前往澳門鏡湖護理學院離島新校區參加“慶祝創校百周年活動鏡湖盃辯論邀請賽”。比賽由澳門鏡湖護理學院學生會屬會辯論會主辦，邀請澳門各高校參加辯論比賽；旨在慶祝澳門鏡湖護理學院創校一百周年及打造一個交流互動平台，促進院校間的文化發展，幫助學生提高語言表達和邏輯思維能力，培養學生良好的辯論風格和思辨能力。比賽讓來自不同學校的同學擴展自己的視野和交友圈，也讓觀眾深切感受到濃郁的辯論文化氣息。獲邀參賽的院校包括澳門大學、澳門城市大學、澳門科技大學、澳門鏡湖護理學院(排名不分先後)。
賽事由受邀院校各派出一支由四名大學生普通話辯論員組成的辯論隊伍，抽籤後進行兩校對決的比賽。比賽評審是由參賽隊伍及院校推薦的一名資深辯手或教練員擔任，澳門大學派出教育學院、研究生二年級黃雪純擔任其中一位評審。比賽不設勝負對決，由評審選出每場最佳辯手一位。
澳大派出四名的成員分別是來自工商管理學院、呂志和書院的本科二年級王紫璿同學，人文學院、鄭裕彤書院的本科二年級張如鑫同學，社會科學學院、滿珍紀念書院的本科二年級許容嘉同學，工商管理學院、鄭裕彤書院的本科一年級林卓誠同學。澳門大學和鏡湖護理學院圍繞辯題「醫學教育以市場需求為導向利大於弊」展開精彩辯論，雙方都展現了出色的辯論技巧，最終由我校四辯林卓誠同學摘得本場「最佳辯手」的稱號。

UM Mandarin Debating Team participated at the “Kiang Wu Cup Debating Invitational Tournament”
UM Mandarin Debating Team participated in the “Kiang Wu Cup Debating Invitational Tournament in Celebration of the 100th Anniversary of the College” at the new campus open day of the Kiang Wu Nursing College of Macau on 25 March 2023. The contest was hosted by the Debate Committee of the Student Union of Kiang Wu Nursing College. To celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding of Kiang Wu Nursing College, the organizer invited the higher institutions in Macau to participate in the debating contest. The contest aimed to create an interactive platform to promote cultural development among institutions, help students improve their language expression and logical thinking skills, and cultivate students’ debating skill and critical thinking abilities. It allowed students from different intuitions to expand their horizons and circle of friends, and also allowed the audience to experience the rich atmosphere of debating culture. Participating institutions included City University of Macau, Macau University of Science and Technology, Kiang Wu Nursing College of Macau and University of Macau (in no particular order).
Each invited institution sent a team consisting of four students to participate the contest. After drawing lots, two institutions were paired to compete. The adjudicators were senior debaters or coaches recommended by the participating teams and institutions. UM sent postgraduate year 2 student Huang Xuechun from FED to be one of the adjudicators. The contest did not have a winning or losing team, and the best debater was selected by the adjudicators.
UM sent four students to participate in the contest, they were Wang Ziying from FBA and LCWC, Zhang Ruxin from FAH and CYTC, Xu Rongjia from FSS and MCMC and Lam Cheok Seng from FBA and CYTC. The University of Macau and the Kiang Wu Nursing College of Macau had a wonderful debate for the topic “The advantages of medical education being market-oriented outweigh the disadvantages”. Lam Cheok Seng, the fourth debater of UM, won the title of Best Debater in this single contest.
