Moon Chun Memorial College, University of Macau held its annual Student Leadership Orientation from 3^rd to 8^th August, 2025, warmly welcoming newly appointed Resident Assistants (RAs), Resident Tutors (RTs), and House Association Executives (HAs). The week-long programme was designed to cultivate leadership skills, foster team spirit, and prepare student leaders to serve as role models for both incoming freshmen and returning students.

The orientation began on 3^rd August with a dynamic team-building session and Personality Dimensions® workshop, led by an experienced facilitator from the Young Men’s Christian Association of Macau. Those activities enabled student leaders to gain better self-understanding, as well as their peers, laying the foundation for effective collaboration. On 5^th August, MCM College Master, Prof. Kwok-cheung Cheung, delivered an insightful briefing on Community and Peer Education at MCM College. Intensive workshops were conducted by Associate Master, Resident Fellows, office staff, and social worker. Topics included job duties, pastoral care, college regulations, office procedures, proposal writing, and conflict resolution—essential tools for student leaders to navigate their responsibilities confidently. On 7^th August, student leaders from various Residential Colleges gathered at the N1 Multi-Function Hall for a special inter-college training session. Prof. Mok Kai Meng, Vice-Rector (Student Affairs), delivered the opening remarks with a briefing on the role of student leaders in Residential College education. The programme concluded with a valuable workshop on mental health first aid, equipping students with the awareness and skills to support their peers’ well-being.
