澳大校長出席內地與港澳大學校長圓桌會
澳門大學校長宋永華8月12日出席於香港舉行的內地與港澳大學校長圓桌會，與北京大學、清華大學、復旦大學、上海交通大學、浙江大學、廈門大學、中山大學、西湖大學、香港大學、香港中文大學、香港科技大學、香港理工大學、香港城市大學等內地與香港一流大學的校長，共同就教育強國背景下學科交叉與國際合作等重要議題開展深入交流。
在圓桌會開幕式上，香港特別行政區政務司司長陳國基、中國高等教育學會會長林蕙青先後致辭。國家教育部部長懷進鵬發表主旨演講，表示是次會議將教育強國的大學使命與轉型發展作為主題之一，正契合中國教育強國發展的重大歷史責任，通過是次會議，可以更好地匯聚共識、突出發展、團結一致，為教育強國建設貢獻大學的價值。他期望內地與港澳大學加強合作、加強交流，通過深度合作打造中國高等教育強國體系，共同服務中國式現代化發展和人才成長，共同為世界高等教育作出貢獻。
在圓桌討論環節，宋永華發表了題為“學科融合下一流大學的人才培養”的主題報告，指出澳大在本科階段推動書院與學院協同育人，在研究生教育階段實施研究院與學院協同創新以及設立文理交叉的研究生課程，從而將學科融合貫穿於人才培養的各個階段。未來，澳大將充分把握橫琴粵澳深度合作區發展新機遇，建設好橫琴合作區校區，進一步擴大辦學空間、拓展辦學資源，為澳門和粵港澳大灣區的高等教育發展注入新動能。
圓桌會期間亦舉行了內地與港澳高校簽約儀式，在懷進鵬、林蕙青、香港中聯辦副主任羅永綱、香港教育局局長蔡若蓮的見證下，宋永華與中山大學校長高松共同簽署合作框架協議。兩校將通過建立戰略合作關係，為服務建設粵港澳大灣區的重大國家戰略，充分發揮雙方的教學科研實力及資源優勢，深化雙方在科學與技術應用研究以及人才培養方面的交流合作，實現優勢互補，合作共贏。
由復旦大學、西湖大學和香港科技大學聯合發起的“生命科學開放聯盟”成立儀式於圓桌會期間舉行。澳大為聯盟創始高校成員之一，將與其他成員攜手，為促進生命科學與技術領域的開放和交流、推動生命科學領域的人才交流和科研資源的融合創新貢獻力量。

UM rector attends University Presidents Roundtable between the Chinese Mainland, Hong Kong and Macao
Yonghua Song, rector of the University of Macau (UM), attended the University Presidents Roundtable between the Chinese Mainland, Hong Kong and Macao held in Hong Kong (12 August). During the event, he engaged in in-depth discussions with the presidents of leading mainland and Hong Kong universities, including Peking University, Tsinghua University, Fudan University, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Zhejiang University, Xiamen University, Sun Yat-sen University, Westlake University, The University of Hong Kong, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, and City University of Hong Kong. Topics discussed included interdisciplinary education and international cooperation in the context of building China into a leading country in education.
During the roundtable discussion, Song delivered a speech on how world-class universities cultivate talent through disciplinary integration. In his speech, he presented UM’s different educational approaches at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, and explained how the university implements disciplinary integration throughout all stages of talent development. He also said that UM will capitalise on the new opportunities presented by the Guangdong-Macao In-Depth Cooperation Zone in Hengqin by establishing its campus in the Cooperation Zone and expanding its teaching space and resources, thereby injecting new impetus into the development of higher education in Macao and the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
A signing ceremony was held during the event, where Song and Gao Song, president of Sun Yat-sen University, signed a cooperation framework agreement. By establishing a strategic partnership, the two universities will leverage their respective strengths in teaching and research to strengthen their exchange and cooperation in applied research in science and technology and talent development, thereby contributing to the development of the Greater Bay Area.
The inauguration ceremony of the Alliance of Open Life Science also took place during the event. As a founding member of the alliance, UM will work with other members to promote academic exchanges in life sciences and technology, foster talent exchange and the integration of research resources in related fields.
