UM Cheerleading Team Won Champion in School Division, Placed 1st Runner-Up in Open Division at “Sai Kung District Gymnastics and Cheerleading Competition”

The “Sai Kung District Gymnastics and Cheerleading Competition” organized by the Sai Kung District Sports Association was held successfully on 24 Aug in Hong Kong. There were over 410 athletes participating in the competition.

UM Cheerleading Team sent 22 members to participate in the School Group and the Open Group competitions. The team demonstrated excellent teamwork, showcasing the strong team spirit of UM sports performing team. Ultimately, the team won the champion in the School Group and 1st Runner-Up in the Open Group.

During the competition, in addition to their outstanding performance on the field, the team also participated in exchange activities with other teams. This provided students with a valuable opportunity to promote the UM while interacting with cheerleading athletes from different regions.
