澳大為教學人員舉辦「預防電訊網絡詐騙講座」
In view of the ongoing concern of scam cases in Macao, at the start of the new academic year, the University has once again collaborated with the Judiciary Police to organize a “Seminar on Phone and Internet Scam Prevention”, mainly targeting UM academic staff. The seminar was held on 3 September 2025 (Wednesday), and Ms. TAM Lai Un, Principal Criminal Investigator of the Judiciary Police, served as the guest speaker. A total of 24 colleagues participated.
During the seminar, Ms. TAM presented the common types of scam cases (e.g., Scam Calls, Internet Scams, AI Scams, etc.), the useful techniques for scam prevention, the strategies for helping others to stay alert and prevent being victimized, as well as the features of the anti-scam program released by the Judiciary Police.
The University hopes that this seminar can further enhance staff members’ awareness on scam cases in Macao, improve their response strategies against scams, and empower them to help others stay vigilant.
