UM Outstanding-Athletes Meet-and-Greet in AY2025/2026

Office of Sports Affairs organized 2 sessions of “Outstanding-Athletes Meet-and-Greet” on 17 and 18 Sep 2025 at the Study Hall, UM Sports Complex (N8).  A total of 68 elite student-athletes were being admitted to UM in this academic year of 2025/2026 through 2 admission schemes, namely

• Principals’ Recommended Admission Scheme for Outstanding Student-Athletes (PRA-OSA): 39 new students
  • Outstanding Student-Athletes Admission Scheme (OSAAS): 29 new students

Beside welcoming all the new student-athletes, the meeting served as an orientation that provided a platform for self-introduction and community building, fostering a warm and engaging atmosphere that encouraged mutual understanding among student-athletes. Finally, OSA also shared the key details about both schemes with the participants.

Currently, we have 124 PRA-OSA student-athletes and 84 OSAAS student-athletes, either contributing to UM university teams, UMSU sports clubs or Macau SAR representing teams.
