專業代表是什麼？

UMPA 會員大會 是 研究生會的「智庫」，擁有最高決策權。專業代表是會員大會的「議員」+ 同學們的「代言人」。每學年，UMPA 為每個碩博專業招募 1–2 名專業代表，搭建「同學↔研究生會↔校方」三方溝通橋樑。UMPA會為每一名專業代表製作官方任期證書。

你的職責：

1. 專業代表聯校交流會：邀請港澳及廣東省內“985” “211” 高校代表，與專業代表交流學習。
2. 定期參會：每年召開1-2次會員大會。專業代表需參與會員大會，彙集眾智，互聯互通。
3. 為同學們發聲：參與專業代表座談會，反饋同學們切身利益問題，有機會將希望變成現實
4. 活動樞紐：優先獲悉並推送 UMPA 學術、文體、聯校交流活動信息，還有機會優先參與喜歡的活動。
5. 畢業季支援：協助本專業同學預約畢業照、領取畢業袍，幫同學們為畢業畫上完美句號。

What is a Student Representative? 

The UMPA General Assembly is the “think tank” of the postgraduate community and holds the highest decision-making power. Student Representatives are its “members” and your cohort’s voice. Each academic year UMPA recruits 1–2 reps per master’s/doctoral programme to build a three-way bridge: Students ↔ UMPA ↔ University. 

Every rep receives an official certificate of tenure.

 

Your Role

1. Network with “985/211” delegates from Hong Kong, Macao and Guangdong.
2. Regular participation: You need to attend the general assembly 1 to 2 times a year, pooling collective wisdom and facilitating mutual communication.
3. Be the voice of your peers: Join the student representative forum, raise the issues that affect everyone’s day-to-day life on campus, and turn hopes into real change.
4. You are the first to receive and share UMPA academic, sports and inter-university activities information. You’ll also get priority access to the events you’re most eager to join.
5. Remind classmates to book graduation photos and pick up gowns, helping your classmates end their university journey on a perfect note.
