MCM College: Tchoukball Experience
On 14th September, 2025, Guia House of Moon Chun Memorial College, University of Macau, and UMSY Tchoukball Club jointly organised a tchoukball event, which attracted enthusiastic participation. The event aimed to promote Tchoukball—an innovative sport that emphasizes teamwork, fair play, non-contact, and high inclusivity.
The event included on-site training, group discussions, and friendly matches, allowing participants to learn the basic techniques of Tchoukball in a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere, while deepening their understanding of sportsmanship and collaborative culture. Throughout the process, students not only increased their physical engagement but also developed communication and teamwork skills. Participant Wang Yinuo shared: “The rules of Tchoukball are unique—there’s no physical contact, yet it requires strong team coordination and strategy. The match truly made me appreciate the spirit of ‘competing with courtesy, making friends through sport.’ The physical intensity is moderate, making it both a workout and a graceful, inclusive experience.”
This event effectively promoted the development of two core competencies: “healthy lifestyle” and “team collaboration,”. Many students expressed hope for more similar activities in the future to continue exploring the charm and value of Tchoukball.
