UM Fencing Team won 1 Gold & 2 Bronzes Medal
at the “8th Shanghai Shili Fencing Open Tournament”
The “8th Shanghai Shili Fencing Open Tournament” (第八屆上海實力擊劍公開賽) was organized by Fencing Association in Shanghai (上海市擊劍協會) and it was held in Shanghai on 1 Oct 2025. UM Fencing Team won one gold and two bronze medals in the tournament.
There were over 370 fencers participating in this fencing open tournament. After the participation in the tournament, it was organized a training on the 2nd day of Oct and all fencers can know and exchange each other. UM Fencing Team has sent 15 students to participate in 6 individual events, they were: Men’s Individual Epee (男子重劍), Men’s Individual Foil (男子花劍), Men’s Individual Sabre (男子佩劍), Women’s Individual Epee (女子重劍), Women’s Individual Foil (女子花劍) and Women’s Individual Sabre (女子佩劍).
