MCMC College: “Introduction to Research Writing” Workshop
滿珍紀念書院: 學術寫作工作坊

On November 5, 2025, the University of Macau’s Moon Chun Memorial College hosted a workshop titled “Introduction to Research Writing,” aimed at equipping students with a comprehensive understanding of the research writing process—from topic selection and research design to paper composition. This event attracted enthusiastic participation from students across various disciplines, including Management, Psychology, Biomedical Sciences, and Engineering, reflecting their keen interest in enhancing their research and writing skills.
Led by Residential Tutor Irene Zeng, the workshop began with an overview of the research writing framework. Participants learned how to formulate research topics, define research questions, conduct literature reviews, and systematically organize their papers. Zeng emphasized the concept and application of meta-analysis, demonstrating effective literature searches, keyword selection, and study screening techniques. Through practical demonstrations, students acquired essential skills for conducting systematic literature reviews and synthesizing data.
The interactive session fostered an engaging atmosphere, with participants actively asking questions and discussing research design, data analysis, and writing strategies. This collaborative environment not only improved students’ research writing and analytical skills but also fueled their enthusiasm for research exploration.
Chenyu Wu, a participant, remarked, “The workshop gave me a clear, holistic understanding of the research process. The systematic explanation from topic selection to writing was immensely practical. The tutor’s demonstration of meta-analysis and literature search was particularly helpful, enabling me to grasp core techniques for synthesizing information. The lively discussions with students from diverse backgrounds sparked further reflection on my research. This workshop not only enhanced my research writing skills but also ignited my passion for scholarly exploration.”
In conclusion, the workshop proved to be a significant step in fostering research literacy among students, encouraging them to delve deeper into their academic pursuits.

2025年11月5日,澳門大學滿珍紀念書院舉辦了一場以學術寫作為主題的工作坊。本次活動旨在幫助同學全面了解學術寫作的基本框架與研究過程,從選題構思、研究設計到論文撰寫,提升同學的學術表達與科研能力,進一步培養「批判思維與研究素養」。活動吸引了來自管理學、心理學、生物醫藥及工程學等多個學科背景的同學參與,充分展現了同學們對學術研究與寫作技巧的高度重視。
工作坊由書院小導師曾筱冲主講。她首先介紹了學術寫作的整體流程,從如何確立研究主題、明確研究問題、搜集與整合文獻,到撰寫學術論文的各個環節,為同學們梳理了學術研究的清晰脈絡。隨後,她重點講解了元分析的基本概念與應用方法,並以實例示範了如何有效進行文獻搜尋、設定關鍵詞及篩選研究,幫助同學掌握系統性文獻回顧與資料整合的核心技巧。
在互動交流環節中,同學們積極提問,圍繞研究設計、資料分析及寫作策略展開熱烈討論,現場氛圍活躍而富有啟發性。本次工作坊不僅提升了同學的學術寫作與研究能力,也激發了他們對科研探索的興趣。
