Competition Highlights

UM Fencing Team won 1 Gold, 2 Silvers & 2 Bronzes
at the “29th All China University Fencing Championship”

The “29th All China University Fencing Championship” was organized by Federation of University Sports of China and  it was held in Changsha from 31 Oct to 9 Nov 2025. UM Fencing Team won 1 gold, 2 silver and 2 bronze medals in the championship.

There were 105 universities and 1,037 students participating in this championship. UM Fencing Team has sent 22 students to participate in individual and team events, they were: Men’s Individual Epee (男子重劍個人), Women’s Individual Epee (女子重劍個人), Men’s Individual Foil (男子花劍個人), Women’s Individual Foil (女子花劍個人), Men’s Individual Sabre (男子佩劍個人), Women’s Individual Sabre (女子佩劍個人). Besides, they also participated in the team events (團體項目).

The competition level was divided into three categories, namely group 1, 2 & 3 (甲、乙及丙組) and group 3 is divided into level A and B while group 3 is the highest skill category, and 3A is the professional level in this regard.
