澳大辦數字素養國際會議暨高研院學術研討會

澳門大學人文社科高等研究院今(19)日起一連兩日舉辦“第一屆數字素養國際會議暨第五屆高研院周年學術研討會”,來自牛津大學、維也納大學、北京大學、上海交通大學等知名院校超過50位專家學者齊聚澳大,圍繞“塑造數字素養的未來:概念、評估與包容性”的主題,從法律、人文、社會、科技等多維視角,對數字素養展開深入探討與交流。

開幕式上,澳門特別行政區政府教育及青年發展局副局長丁少雄致辭表示,近年澳門高等院校深化數字化建設和相關領域的專業人才培養,各高校發揮自身優勢,增設不少與資訊科技、人工智能、大數據等相關的學位課程,實現跨學科融合,滿足社會對複合型人才的需求,吸引澳門乃至周邊地區優秀學生報讀。他指出,培養具備數字素養的人才,關係著國家和澳門的競爭力,影響著驅動產業升級的新質生產力。

澳大校長宋永華表示,高研院的年度會議已發展成為匯聚全球學者的關鍵平台,不僅促進跨學科對話,也持續深化國際間的學術交流。是次會議主題緊扣社會核心議題,與會者透過探討數字素養如何塑造個人與集體身份,以及其在各領域的應用,共同推動一個更為包容、重視倫理、以人為本的數字未來願景。

澳大人文社科高等研究院院長於興中在會議引言時指出,現時大眾對算法如何影響自身選擇、數據如何被收集,以及人工智能系統如何影響日常生活,仍缺乏足夠認知。他強調,若要真正實現網絡治理、人工智能治理、數據治理與數位安全的目標,必須先賦予個人理解並參與這些系統的能力。是次會議將作為數字素養研究的基石,糾正當前大眾對數字素養的嚴重忽視,從而將數位時代轉變為全民賦能的時代。

研討會設有三場主題演講、六場專題討論及兩場圓桌會議,涵蓋多個當前關鍵議題,包括數字素養的基本概念與理論框架、數字素養與教育、面向弱勢群體的數字素養、性别及家庭與數字技術、數據登記與應用等。其中,兩場圓桌會議以“人工智能在教育上的運用”為主題,超過20位的資深教育工作者,就人工智能與教育融合發展的關鍵議題展開深度對話,分享真知灼見。

今屆研討會延續過往成果,再度匯聚多個領域的專家與年輕學者,為公眾、教育工作者與政策制定者搭建交流平台,從理論探討到實務評估,推動跨界合作,探索面向永續、公平與共融未來的務實方案。

UM hosts International Conference on Digital Literacy and IAS Annual Conference

The 1st International Conference on Digital Literacy and the 5th Annual Conference of the Institute of Advanced Studies in Humanities and Social Sciences (IAS), organised by IAS at the University of Macau (UM), commenced today (19 November) and will be held until tomorrow. The two-day event has brought together over 50 experts and scholars from prestigious institutions around the world, including the University of Oxford, the University of Vienna, Peking University, and the Shanghai Jiao Tong University. Under the theme ‘Shaping the Future of Digital Literacy: Concepts, Evaluation, and Inclusion’, the conference explores digital literacy from multidisciplinary perspectives, including law, the humanities, society, and technology, fostering in-depth discussions and exchanges.

During the opening ceremony, Teng Sio Hong, deputy director of the Education and Youth Development Bureau of Macao SAR government, highlighted that nurturing digitally literate talent is crucial to enhancing the competitiveness of both the country and Macao, as well as vital to developing new quality productive forces that drive industry transformation. Yonghua Song, rector of UM, noted that this year’s conference closely aligns with critical societal issues, which can help advance a vision for a more inclusive, ethical, and human-centred digital future. Yu Xingzhong, director of IAS, emphasised that the conference serves as a cornerstone for research on digital literacy, addressing the current serious neglect of the topic and transforming the digital era into one of empowerment for all.

The conference features three keynote speeches, six panel discussions, and two roundtable sessions, covering a range of emerging topics, including ‘Fundamental Concepts and Theoretical Frameworks of Digital Literacy’, ‘Digital Literacy and Education’, ‘Digital Literacy for Vulnerable Groups’, ‘Gender, Family and Digital Technology’, ‘Data Registration and Application’, and ‘The Application of AI in Education’.
