MCMC x CIE completed “From Spark to Start: Entrepreneurship Training Course”
滿珍紀念書院 :「From Spark to Start」創業培訓項目

The MCM College “From Spark to Start” Entrepreneurship Training Program for 2025 successfully concluded with a dynamic final roadshow. Running from September to November, this event marked the culmination of an intensive curriculum designed to equip students with the foundational principles of venture creation.

The program engaged approximately 30 undergraduate students from a wide range of disciplines, including the Faculty of Science and Technology (FST), Faculty of Business Administration (FBA), Faculty of Health Sciences (FHS), Faculty of Arts and Humanities (FAH), Faculty of Law (FLL), and Faculty of Education (FED). Through a series of interdisciplinary workshops and seminars, participants acquired practical knowledge in business fundamentals, legal frameworks, and business proposal development, complemented by insightful sharing sessions from established startup founders.

A core component of the program involved the application of this learning through the development of two comprehensive business projects. Students conducted in-depth analyses of target markets, competitive landscapes, strategic marketing approaches, and viable profit models. Through iterative refinement, these projects evolved into fully realized business proposals. The program culminated in final presentations delivered by six shortlisted teams, each demonstrating considerable effort, pronounced creativity, and rigorous analytical depth and certificates of completion are awarded to participants.

Among the presenting teams, “Rhodes Island Pharmaceutical Inc.” delivered a particularly compelling and passionately argued presentation, earning them the championship title at the final roadshow. Their performance served as a prime exemplar of the program’s core objectives: to foster interdisciplinary collaboration and cultivate entrepreneurial excellence.

The program’s success underscores the significant value of structured innovation training in equipping the next generation of entrepreneurs. This achievement was made possible with the generous guidance of our esteemed faculty mentors. The program extends its sincere gratitude to Prof. Edwin Chong Wing CHEUNG, Prof. Tianwei HAO, and Dr. Yu Ming TANG for their invaluable insights and constructive feedback.
