From November 24 to 29, 2025, the Centre for Continuing Education (CCE) of the University of Macau (UM), in continued collaboration with the HKU School of Professional and Continuing Education (HKU SPACE), organized a Training course on Interdisciplinary Learning for 46 postgraduate students from Guangzhou University.

The one-week training program consisted of a series of thematic lectures with rich educational content. Students first attended lectures delivered by experts and scholars at the HKU SPACE downtown learning centre, covering topics such as “Cross-Cultural New Media and Advertising Marketing” and “Technology Trends Empowering Business and Financial Management.”

Subsequently, the students traveled to Macau to attend lectures given by senior UM professors on “Empowering the Contemporary Expansion of Ink Art with Digital Technology and AI” and “Big Data and Artificial Intelligence: Revolutionary Development.”

During the closing ceremony, student representatives shared their thoughts, noting that through this training, they experienced the convenient transportation connecting Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macau, as well as the high-quality, distinctive teaching and unique urban charm of both Hong Kong and Macau. They expressed that they had gained significant insights and hoped to return for further studies in the future.

This training activity marks another collaboration with HKU SPACE. Through cross-city academic exchange, it continues to promote the development of a new model of cooperative continuing education linking the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area.
