澳洲伍倫貢大學副校長訪澳大
澳洲伍倫貢大學副校長 Joe Chicharo 今（1）日訪問澳門大學，獲澳大校長宋永華和副校長馬許願（Rui Martins）熱情接待。雙方就進一步落實合作、拓展人才培養、促進科研創新等議題展開深入交流。
宋永華介紹了澳大的最新發展及橫琴合作區校區的建設願景，重點闡述澳大在科技創新與跨學科人才培養領域的戰略佈局，以及與伍倫貢大學的合作成果。Joe Chicharo表示，伍倫貢大學始終堅守“致力於卓越教學與學生成功”的理念，在法律、工程、教育、物理科學等領域具有國際影響力，並期待與澳大進一步加強合作，促進科研發展，提升學術創新。
代表團參觀了澳大模擬與混合信號集成電路全國重點實驗室及智慧城市物聯網全國重點實驗室，深入了解澳大近年的科研成果、人才培養模式、科研發展佈局及橫琴合作區校區的建設計劃。Joe Chicharo對澳大的發展及科研成果給予高度評價。
澳大科技學院院長須成忠、全球事務總監王春明等亦參與接待。

Vice president of University of Wollongong visits UM
Joe Chicharo, vice president of the University of Wollongong (UOW), visited the University of Macau (UM) today (1 December). UM Rector Yonghua Song and Vice Rector Rui Martins warmly received the delegation. The two parties held in-depth discussions on strengthening cooperation, expanding talent development, and promoting scientific research and innovation.
Song gave the delegation an overview of UM’s latest developments and its vision for the campus in the Guangdong-Macao In-Depth Cooperation Zone in Hengqin. He also explained UM’s strategic plans for science and technology innovation and interdisciplinary talent cultivation, as well as the progress of its collaboration with UOW. Chicharo highlighted UOW’s commitment to teaching excellence and student success, along with its global strengths in fields such as law, engineering, education, and the physical sciences. He also expressed hope for strengthening cooperation with UM to advance research and academic innovation.
The delegation also visited the State Key Laboratory of Analog and Mixed-Signal VLSI and the State Key Laboratory of Internet of Things for Smart City, where they learned about UM’s recent research achievements, talent cultivation approach, research layout, and plans for the campus in the Cooperation Zone in Hengqin. Chicharo spoke highly of UM’s achievements.
