Sports Promotion Program (6) – Dragon Dance experience was held successfully at the Sacred Heart Canossian College

Sports Promotion Program, co-organized by Office of Sports Affairs (OSA) and SJM Resorts, is a series of sports activities being held at different local high schools.

The 2nd Dragon Dance Workshop was successfully held on November 19 at the Sacred Heart Canossian College in Macau. This engaging event featured 10 members and 1 coach from the UM Dragon and Lion Dance team, who introduced over 430 students to the rich traditions of Chinese culture through the art of dragon dance.

The workshop began with a captivating performance of the dragon dance by the UM Dragon and Lion Dance team, setting an exciting tone for the event. This was followed by a lively Q&A session, which fostered engaging discussions and enhanced the overall experience. Students also had the opportunity to approach and touch the dragon, allowing them to connect more closely with this vibrant cultural symbol.

All participants left with smiles and a sense of fulfillment, having created wonderful memories together.
