體育事務部（OSA）於本學期舉辦了兩班匹克球興趣班，旨在向師生及職員推動及提供接觸不同體育運動的機會，享受運動帶來的樂趣與益處。

興趣班於9月17日起，各於每週二及週三上午上課，各5節課共40名學生參加。

是次興趣班邀請到中國澳門匹克球總會導師為參加師生教授匹克球的基本概念、打法、球例及禮儀等，並以培訓及實踐形式進行，讓參加師生都能落場練習、掌握匹克球的打法及樂趣，增加對該運動的了解及增強持續做運動的興趣。參加的同學都表示興趣班讓他們加深對這新興運動的了解，提供了讓他們體驗此運動的機會。

Office of Sports Affairs (OSA) organized two classes of “Pickleball Interest Course” this semester, aiming to promote and provide UM members with opportunities to experience different sports, enjoy the fun and benefits of it.

The Pickleball Interest Course started from 17 Sept, two classes each with 5 sessions held every Tuesday and Wednesday morning respectively, and a total of 40 UM students participated.

We are delighted to invite instructors from the Macau China Pickleball General Association (MCPGA) to introduce the basic concepts, playing methods, regulations and etiquette of pickleball to the participants. The classes were conducted in the form of training and practicing, providing the opportunities to the participants to practice on the court, master the playing methods, increase their understanding of pickleball, and enhance their interest in continuing to exercise. The participating students all expressed that this interest course deepened their understanding of this emerging sport and provided them with the opportunity to experience it.
