Chao Kuang Piu College Fellows and Students Embark on Arts and Culture Study Trip to Hong Kong
曹光彪書院師生赴港展開藝文學習之旅
澳門大學曹光彪書院於11月22日組織11名師生前往香港，開展以「歷史與當代對話」為主題的藝文學習之旅。行程涵蓋香港故宮文化博物館、M+當代視覺文化博物館及中環大館當代美術館，橫跨古埃及文明、女性沉浸式藝術以及數位雲端藝術三大重量級展覽，為參加者帶來一場震撼而深刻的文化體驗。
行程首站為香港故宮文化博物館，重點參觀特展「古埃及文明大展─埃及博物館珍藏」。展覽展出250件來自七間埃及主要博物館及薩卡拉考古遺址的珍貴文物，包括雕像、石碑、金器、木乃伊棺槨及動物木乃伊等，分為「法老的國度」、「圖坦卡門的世界」、「薩卡拉的秘密」及「古埃及與世界」四大主題。參觀者得以全面認識這段橫跨近五千年的古文明，其政治、文化、藝術與宗教等面向皆呈現其中。展覽亦展示薩卡拉最新的考古發現，讓師生近距離感受古埃及文明的輝煌與神秘。
其後，隊伍轉往同位於西九文化區的M+博物館，探訪「身臨夢境：1950年代至今的女性藝術家環境作品展」。展覽匯聚草間彌生、Pipilotti Rist、曹斐等國際知名女性藝術家的多媒體沉浸式作品，包括裝置、錄像、聲音與表演。師生皆表示深受展覽中大膽、夢幻而富張力的藝術語言所觸動。
下午，隊伍前往中環大館當代美術館參觀熱門展覽「保持在線：雲中遊蕩」（Stay Online: Wandering in the Cloud）。展覽以「雲端」為核心隱喻，融合虛擬實境、互動媒體及網絡藝術，探討科技時代中人類的生活經驗。師生在多項數位裝置中進行親身互動，加深了對當代藝術如何回應科技高速變遷的理解。
在短短一天內參觀三個國際級展覽，從古埃及文明到最前沿的數位藝術，跨越數千年的時間範疇，為師生帶來高密度且高質量的文化刺激。許多同學表示，這是首次造訪香港故宮、M+與大館，獲益遠超預期。曹光彪書院將繼續舉辦跨地域藝術與文化活動，為學生搭建多元視野的平台，並促進其在古今與中外藝術交流中的文化素養提升。
Chao Kuang Piu College of the University of Macau organised an arts and culture study trip to Hong Kong on 22 November (Saturday), bringing 11 follows and students to explore the theme “Dialogue Between History and the Contemporary”. The group visited three major cultural institutions — the Hong Kong Palace Museum, M+ Museum, and Tai Kwun Contemporary — experiencing exhibitions that spanned ancient Egyptian civilisation, immersive works by women artists, and cutting-edge digital cloud art. The trip offered participants an inspiring and impactful cultural experience.
The first stop was the Hong Kong Palace Museum, where the group visited the special exhibition “Civilisation of Ancient Egypt – Treasures from the Egyptian Museum”. Showcasing 250 precious artefacts from seven major Egyptian museums and the Saqqara archaeological site, the exhibition features statues, stelae, gold objects, mummy coffins, and animal mummies. Organised into four sections — “The Land of the Pharaohs”, “The World of Tutankhamun”, “Secrets of Saqqara”, and “Ancient Egypt and the World” — it presents nearly 5,000 years of history, exploring politics, culture, art, daily life, and religious beliefs. The exhibition also highlights the latest archaeological discoveries in Saqqara, allowing participants to appreciate the grandeur and mystery of ancient Egyptian civilisation up close.
The group then proceeded to M+ in the West Kowloon Cultural District to visit the exhibition “Into the Dreamscape: Women Artists and Environments from the 1950s to the Present”. Featuring immersive installations, video, sound, and performance works by renowned international artists such as Yayoi Kusama, Pipilotti Rist, and Cao Fei, the exhibition deeply moved students with its bold and dreamlike artistic language.
In the afternoon, the group visited the popular exhibition “Stay Online: Wandering in the Cloud” at Tai Kwun Contemporary in Central. Using “the cloud” as its central metaphor, the exhibition incorporates virtual reality, interactive media, and net art to examine human experience in the digital age. Students engaged with various digital installations, gaining insights into how contemporary art responds to the rapid evolution of technology.
Across three world-class exhibitions in a single day — from ancient Egypt to the frontier of digital art — students experienced a high-intensity, high-quality cultural journey. Many remarked that it was their first time visiting the Hong Kong Palace Museum, M+, and Tai Kwun, and that the experience far exceeded their expectations. Chao Kuang Piu College will continue to organise cross-regional arts and cultural activities, providing students with opportunities to broaden their horizons and enhance their cultural literacy through dialogues between ancient and modern, eastern and western art.
