News Express: UM students were awarded the the Top Ten Outstanding Volunteers in Macau and Star Volunteer Silver Awards
新聞快訊: 澳大同學榮獲全澳十大傑出義工及星級義工銀獎
「2025國際義工日慶祝活動暨優秀義工選舉」頒獎禮日前在菩提社會服務大樓舉行。本次頒獎禮由澳門義務工作者協會主辦,澳門基金會贊助,旨在表彰社會各界優秀義工。本校工商管理學院二年級的紹邦書院郭曦穎同學榮獲全澳十大傑出義工獎。此外,健康科學學院二年級的鄭裕彤書院李卓衡同學獲得星級義工銀獎。
在典禮中,澳門義務工作者協會會長廖玉群致辭表示,希望通過本次活動讓大眾認識義工服務,鼓勵義工發揮助人精神,從而體會義工服務的意義和核心價值。她對義工們走出舒適圈服務他人的行為深感感動並致以感謝,勉勵義工及嘉賓繼續發揚讓愛傳下去的精神。
獲得星級義工銀獎的李卓衡同學表示十分榮幸能獲得此獎項,衷心感謝澳大和書院對他的肯定及提供參與義工服務的機會,並感謝主辦方和評審委員的肯定。他承諾將繼續積極參與各種義工活動,在服務他人的過程中學習和成長,並期待未來與其他義工攜手合作。

而郭曦穎同學因事未能出席頒獎禮,再次祝賀兩位得獎同學。

“International Volunteer Day 2025: Outstanding Volunteer Election” Awards Ceremony was recently held at the Bodhi Social Service Building. The event was organized by the Macau Volunteer Association and sponsored by Macau Foundation, aiming to recognize outstanding volunteers from all sectors of society. GUO Hei Weng, a second-year student from the Faculty of Business Administration and member of Shiu Pong College, was honored as one of Macau’s Top Ten Outstanding Volunteers. In addition, LI DaleSun, a second-year student from the Faculty of Health Sciences and member of Cheng Yu Tung College, received the Star Volunteer Silver Award.
During the ceremony, Ms. Yuky LIAO, President of the Macau Volunteer Association, expressed her hope that this event would raise public awareness of volunteer services and encourage volunteers to embody the spirit of helping others, thereby appreciating the meaning and core values of volunteerism. She was deeply moved by volunteers stepping out of their comfort zones to serve others and extended her gratitude, urging volunteers and guests to continue spreading the spirit of love.
LI DaleSun, recipient of the Star Volunteer Silver Award, said he was honored to receive this recognition and sincerely thanked the University of Macau and his college for their support and for providing opportunities to participate in volunteer services. He also expressed gratitude to the organizers and judging panel for their acknowledgment. LI pledged to continue actively engaging in various volunteer activities, learning and growing through service, and looks forward to collaborating with other volunteers in the future.
