1. 切記財不可露眼,避免讓不法分子有機可乘;
2. 在人多擠迫的街道及公共交通工具上,要時刻留意保管好個人財物;
3. 外出前,應通知家人前往的地點及回家時間,以免家人擔心;
4. 避免前往不當娛樂場所消遣,亦切勿接受陌生人提供的飲品或食物,提防毒品陷阱;
5. 網上交友要小心,切勿輕信網友的說話,慎防上當受騙;
6. 切勿登入不明連結或下載不明軟件,亦不要透過互聯網傳送個人身份資料或相片,以防被他人盜用;
7. 如目睹或獲悉任何犯罪消息,應立即向警方舉報並提供資料,以便警方盡快追查,撲滅罪惡。

Details
Dear students,
As the Christmas and New Year holidays are approaching, the Judiciary Police Youth Concern Section would like to extend our festive greetings to all students. We wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
During this festive period, students may travel abroad with family or attend parties and celebrations with friends. Our awareness of potential environmental risks may drop when we are feeling joyful and relaxed, giving criminals opportunities to offend. We therefore urge everyone to remain vigilant and continually raise their selfprotection awareness. Pay attention to your personal and property safety when going out, and take the necessary precautions to prevent burglary and avoid becoming a victim. Teenagers should keep in mind the following crime prevention measures to ensure a safe and enjoyable holiday:
1. Keep valuable belongings out of sight, eliminating opportunities for crime.
2. Always safeguard personal belongings when being in crowded streets and on public transport.
3. Before leaving, inform your family members of your whereabouts and expected time of return so they do not have to worry about you.
4. Avoid visiting inappropriate entertainment venues and never accept drinks or food from strangers to guard against drug-related traps.
5. Exercise caution when making online friends, and do not readily trust strangers on the Internet to so you will not fall prey to scams.
6. Do not click suspicious links or download unknown software. To prevent theft of personal information, refrain from transmitting personal
identification information or photos over the Internet.
7. If you witness or have knowledge of any criminal activities, immediately report to the police and provide relevant details to facilitate prompt
investigation and eradication of crime.
