The year 2026 marks the 45th anniversary of the University of Macau (UM). To celebrate this important milestone, the university will hold the UM 45th Anniversary Open Day on 11 January 2026 (Sunday) from 11:00am to 5:00pm.

On this special day, the UM main campus, along with the UM’s Transitional Research and Education Site of Campus in the Guangdong-Macao In-Depth Cooperation Zone in Hengqin and Zhuhai UM Science & Technology Research Institute will be open to the public.

The UM Anniversary Open Day will feature a wide range of activities, including admission talks, programme consultations, science talks, sports activities, game booths, workshops, and a lucky draw. Guided campus tours with several themed routes will also be available, offering visitors a closer look at UM’s learning and living environment. Visitors can also take part in the quiz game and the lucky draw at the Library Plaza on the main campus for a chance to win exciting prizes! In addition, the Open Day activities will be livestreamed to allow those who are unable to attend in person to participate online.
