Online Shopping Scams:
- Scammers would release their products (e.g., concert tickets that are highly “sought‑after”), reservations or services on various social media platforms;
- They would request the buyers to “complete the payment transactions prior to the delivery”;
- However, after the payment is completed, the buyers may not receive the products or services.
As a general reminder, only by ensuring “payment upon delivery”, you can best protect yourself from falling victim to online shopping scams.
