澳大持續進修中心與香港大學專業進修學院合作為廣東外語外貿大學的學生開辦智匯灣區 · 多語種與跨文化創新工作坊
澳門大學持續進修中心於2026年2月2日至7日期間，與香港大學專業進修學院合作為廣東外語外貿大學的學生開辦“智匯灣區 · 多語種與跨文化創新工作坊”，共有30位來自廣東外語外貿大學日語語言文化學院的研究生參加。
為期6天的培訓班在港澳兩地進行，由一系列專題講座組成，教學內容豐富，全程以英語授課。課題包括： “在香港情境下的中文作為第二語言的教學與學習”、“香港非華語兒童的學與教：多文化與多語言教學”、“翻譯技術與人工智能在語言産業中的應用”和“跨文化溝通的理論與實踐”等内容。在結課儀式上，澳大持續進修中心主任劉丁己教授表示，透過此次港澳雙城的研學模式，學生們體驗到了港澳兩地的風情面貌，以及有別於内地的教學風格，歡迎以後再來港澳交流學習。
廣東外語外貿大學是廣東省高水平大學重點建設高校。學校具有鮮明的國際化特色，是華南地區國際化人才培養，外國語言文學、全球經濟治理、涉外法治研究及中華文化國際傳播的重要基地。其日語語言文化學院前身爲成立於1970年10月的廣州外國語學院“三系”。1983年，院系調整時更名爲東語系。1995年5月，原屬教育部直接管轄的廣州外國語學院與原屬對外經貿部直接管轄的廣州對外貿易學院合幷，東語系升格爲東方語言文化學院。2018年7月，學院再次升格爲日語語言文化學院。
本次培訓活動再次與香港大學專業進修學院合作，透過跨城市學術交流，持續推動粵港澳大灣區聯動的持續進修教育合作新模式的發展。澳門大學持續進修中心也將持續開展更多優質的培訓項目，促進內地優秀高校與澳大之間的交流與合作。
CCE Collaborated with HKU SPACE to Launch a Workshop on Multilingual and Cross-cultural Innovation for students from Guangdong University of Foreign Studies
The University of Macau (UM) Centre for Continuing Education (CCE), in collaboration with the Hong Kong University School of Professional and Continuing Education (HKU SPACE), jointly organized a Workshop on Multilingual and Cross-cultural Innovation for students from Guangdong University of Foreign Studies (GDUFS) from February 2 to 7, 2026. Total 30 postgraduate students from the School of Japanese Language and Culture at GDUFS participating.
The six-day training was conducted in both Hong Kong and Macao, consisting of a series of thematic lectures with rich teaching content, delivered entirely in English. The topics covered “Teaching and Learning Chinese as a Second Language in the Hong Kong Context”, “Learning and Teaching for Non-Chinese Speaking Children in Hong Kong: Multicultural and Multilingual Education”, “Translation Technology and Artificial Intelligence Applications in the Language Industry” and “Theory and Practice of Intercultural Communication”. At the closing ceremony, Professor Matthew LIU, Director of CCE, remarked that through this Hong Kong-Macao dual-city learning model, students experienced the distinctive characteristics of both cities as well as teaching styles that differ from those in Chinese mainland, and he welcomed them to return for future exchange and learning opportunities in Hong Kong and Macao.
Guangdong University of Foreign Studies is a key institution under Guangdong Province’s high-level university development program. The university is characterized by its distinct internationalization features and serves as an important base in South China for cultivating international talents, advancing research in foreign languages and literature, global economic governance, foreign-related rule of law, and promoting international dissemination of Chinese culture. Its School of Japanese Language and Culture originated from the “Third Department” established in October 1970 at the former Guangzhou Institute of Foreign Languages. In 1983, during a departmental restructuring, it was renamed the Department of Oriental Languages. In May 1995, when the former Guangzhou Institute of Foreign Languages (under the direct administration of the Ministry of Education) merged with the former Guangzhou Institute of Foreign Trade (under the direct administration of the Ministry of Foreign Economic Relations and Trade), the Department of Oriental Languages was upgraded to the School of Oriental Languages and Cultures. In July 2018, the school was further upgraded to the School of Japanese Language and Culture.
This training program marks another collaboration with HKU SPACE. Through cross-city academic exchange, it continues to promote the development of a new model of continuing education cooperation within the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. UM CCE will continue to develop more high-quality training programs to foster exchange and cooperation between outstanding higher education institutions in Chinese mainland and UM.
