On 1^st February 2026, Guia House of Moon Chun Memorial College, University of Macau hosted the “MCMC Dodgeball Battle,” attracting enthusiastic participation from 43 residents. Participants were grouped into four teams according to their respective Houses, engaging in a friendly yet intensely competitive series of matches.

Before the competition began, Guia House Resident Assistant, Dominic Tsang introduced the rules of dodgeball and led the participants through trial play and warm-up exercises. The four teams then competed in a single round-robin format. Dodgeball combines throwing, running, jumping, and dodging skills, making it an excellent sport for physical fitness while also emphasizing team coordination and cooperation. Throughout the matches, the teams actively discussed strategies and supported one another, demonstrating the strong team spirit and athletic enthusiasm of MCMC residents.

After three thrilling rounds, Dom Pedro V House narrowly claimed the championship. The remaining three teams finished with the same score and were jointly awarded second place. Toward the end of the event, all participants and working team joined in a large-scale fun match, concluding the activity in a joyful and relaxed atmosphere.

This event not only strengthened communication and friendship among residents but also further promoted healthy lifestyle and a culture of team sports within the college.
